She'd spent the night alternately chasing and avoiding the source of the tingle that was coming to her through her spider sense. That meant cutting short a lot of conversations, which helped in maintaining the "Rose" persona, but that wasn't something to be celebrated.
What was worse, she was so busy with that mystery that she was never able to quiet get more than a glimpse of the photographer that she wanted to talk to.
All in all, her party had resulted in nothing more than an opportunity for emotional self-flagellation.
She sighed and sank into her bath, soaking and sulking moodily.

Peter frowned to himself as he developed the film he'd shot while at this party. They weren't his best work, but they were far from his worst either.
He'd spent too much time playing cat and mouse with whatever was setting off his spider-sense. He hoped that it wasn't some sort of false positive, he didn't like to think that he couldn't trust his own senses like that. Especially not with this other super-human around, possibly two.
He hadn't gotten many pictures of this Kodachi Kuno, either, and he wasn't certain just how upset about that Jameson would be. At least he'd caught her in striking profile a couple of times.
