The first sensation he felt was warmth. His whole body felt pretty toasty, actually.
Not in the "I've just been tossed in a bonfire" way (he knew; it'd happened to him on one occasion), but in a "I forgot to turn the heater off last night and it's too hot, but it's kind of relaxing too" way.
The second sensation he felt was 'wet'. He could feel the dampness across his chest, arms and legs. Sweat, he thought, for the most part. He'd certainly done that quite a bit in his life. Probably caused by the heat.
The third was, he supposed, pain. He 'supposed' because it wasn't a stabbing pain from getting stabbed by something sharp, nor the throbbing pain of getting hit with something heavy; instead, it was a vague kind of ache across his entire body combined with a slight itching. It kind of reminded him of recovering from more serious injuries, actually.
Maybe that's what happened; now that he was feeling everything else, he felt soft sheets moving across his chest with each breath, and the heaviness of blankets combined with the combination of something-soft over something-hard that told him he was in a futon, lying on his side. Something had happened, and he was healing up? His memory was still a little... disconnected.
He had feeling, so now he turned to movement. He curled his toes experimentally and they seemed to be - ow! That didn't feel too good. Gingerly he moved his legs slightly and was rewarded by a few twinges, nothing more. He started to make a fist and stopped, the ache flaring up in response.
Note to self: don't move, it hurts too much.
He had feeling, he had movement (pain aside)... time to wake up, he supposed. Carefully open an eye and -
"Ahh!"
-shut it with a quiet exclamation. His eye felt like it'd been stabbed with a large icicle! He suppressed a whimper and gingerly turned to cover him face with the blanket.
And couldn't move his arms at all. Ignoring the sudden stabbing pain that ran up and down his sides and arms, he struggled with his bonds.
And they moved, sliding back with a rustle from behind him. Then something gently turned his body around.
"Negi-sensei? You're awake?"
The voice was quiet and familiar. It was-
"Nodoka-saaaaaagh!"
He'd reflexively opened his eyes, only to shut them again with an unmuffled cry of agony. He curled up and pressed his hands over his clenched eyelids in hopes of distracting himself.
"Shhh, shhh!"
Warm arms hugged him from behind.
"Don't open your eyes yet; they're still healing. Besides," and here her voice turned so quiet he had to strain to listen, "I'm not... exactly dressed."
He could feel his face start to heat up, and was sure it was starting to look like a ripe tomato.
"I-it's not like that! Umm... they say that you're supposed to take off the wet clothes and keep the person warm... so... umm..."
"R-right..."
There was an awkward silence between the two.
