Eternian Wreaking Crew: Enter the Council of Evil! [Episode 184589]

by KAITON

"Who's next?" Ranma smirked in her usual way and turned back to the group of Eternians. Which ended out being the precise moment the wall behind her blew up. Knocked back by the force of the blast and the resulting plume of dust, the redhead could do nothing as several shadows entered through the hole.

"I believe that would be me." Skeletor's visage, despite being little more than a bare skull, smirked in amusement at the scene. "Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Bravo! Laying waste to that idiot Randor like it was child's play!"

The Council of Evil fanned-out behind him, Evil-Lynn on his right, Tri-Clops on his left. Beast-Man reared up on his griffon stead and disappeared over the top of the palace.

"What's up, bone-brain? Cough! Don't ya think yer a little fragile ta fight me?" Ranma did a backwards somersault to land on her feet and stood, wiping dust from the front of his tunic.

"Oh, I think you'll find I'm stronger than I look!" The man once known as Keldor, son of Miro, raised his Havok Staff and blasted Ranma clear through three rooms. "Evil-Lynn, secure the child!"

The dark blue-dressed seductress sashayed through the rubble. Skeletor took a moment to glance at the fallen Man-At-Arms, which ended out being the exact moment Mekanek's head rose outside the massive hole in Adam's bedroom wall.

"Freeze, scumbags! We have you surrounded!" Suddenly, Fisto and Ram-Man smashed through the final two intact walls of the room, royal guardsmen falling in behind them. Sy-Clone and Roboto landed behind the self-proclaimed 'Overlord of Evil' (everyone knew the title truly belonged to Hordak). Whiplash and Clawful growled at the two newcomers but did nothing to raise their ire against their master.

"Now, Beast-Man!" Skeletor sing-songed out before leaping out of the way. Massive griffon claws knocked the Sy-CLone and Roboto into Fisto and Ram-Man, the quartet barreling end-on-end through the corridor wall and into the interior gardens. "You may perhaps be good for something afterall, Fur Ball."

Beast-Man jumped off his griffon and growled angrily at his master. "I should've let them attack!"

"If you truly meant to kill me, yes." Skeletor turned to the direction Ranma had flown. "Evil-Lynn," he barked, "Get the girl! We're leaving!"

"Keldor, I can't let you do that." Duncan shakily rose to his feet with Adam's help. "That person might be-"

"Yes, yes, the Enchantress that whisked dear old granddad away from Eternos. Believe me, she won't be any trouble." Skeletor leveled his staff at the wounded soldier. "And neither will you, old friend."

Duncan pushed a switch on his chest and his back-up armor shattered the remains of his primary, a new face shield sliding into place over his singed moustache. "Try it, Keldor!"

The burst of mystical energy that shot out from the skull head was quickly deflected by a force bubble to Whiplash. The green-scaled Master of Evil flew out the hole in the wall only to be caught by a griffon.

Evil-Lynn reappeared out of the rubble, Ranma slung over her shoulder. "I have her Skeletor."

"Splendid! Let us be off!" Beast-Man whistled and two griffons demolished the outside wall, widening the hole enough to allow the Council of Evil to mount. Clawful swatted Mekanek away while the Masters tried to regroup guardsmen for an attack. Stratos landed beside Man-At-Arms and checked Randor. Adam held Teela back. As the villains flew off, Adam's room collapsed, forcing the Masters to evacuate further into the palace.

"What are you doing? We can't let them take her!"

"Why? So your boyfriend's a Master of Evil, Teela, what d'you think you're gonna do about it?" Adam was unprepared for the back-kick to the stomach his childhood friend gave him, nor the backhand to the face immediately after.

"He says he's from 'Earth' you doofus! And we just gave the only clue to Queen Marlena's homeworld to Skeletor!" Man-At-Arms put his hands on her shoulders to calm her long enough to retract her serpent staff, thereby untangling her long crimson locks. "We're going after them!"

"Hey, waitaminute here, Teela, I don't think that's-" The redhead raised a hand to cut him off, her eyes narrowed.

"Just because you're too much of a coward to step out from behind your father's sword doesn't mean the rest of us are!" She tore a piece of dustruffle from the prince's ruined bed and tied back her hair.

Man-At-Arms fiddled with the retraction mechanism on his discarded armor. "Unfortunately, Teela's right. Even if she is our enemy we can't get any answers from a corpse."

Randor pulled his arm out from Roboto's hands with a muttered 'I'm fine!' and stepped beside his friend. "Was that truly the Enchantress? Did my eyes deceive me?"

"No, sire, she did indeed look like the Enchantress but we have yet to confirm that she is what she appears to be..."

"What else could she be?"

"Well," Duncan didn't quite know how to break the news to his oldest friend, "Teela says that the stranger comes from 'Earth'."
