He nods. “Yes, but how did you know about that?”
Say, “Two things, Nephrite. ‘Preparation’ and ‘research’. Working with Beryl, I can understand why you’re not familiar with them.”
Nephrite smirked and gave a dull chuckle. “True... yes, he was imprisoned.”
Ask, “Is he dead?”
“Master, you’re not going to bring back Jadeite, are you?” asked Rei
Say “He could be useful, and he’d be loyal to the one who saved him.”
Nephrite remained silent for a long moment. “As much as I hate to admit it, Ranmaite-sama is correct. He would be useful.”
“I agree,” said Ami, “He will give us another wild card that Beryl doesn’t know about.”
“Aren’t the outers enough?” asked Rei
Ami turned to the four women in question. “Do any of you know the detailed layout and inner workings of the Dark Kingdom or Beryl’s citadel?”
They all replied with no.
Say “Exactly. I intend to conquer the Dark Kingdom. I will not only have to usurp the queen, I will also have to pacify any resisters. I need field commanders with experience in the Dark Kingdom, and who could command the loyalty of the Yoma legions.
Nephrite chucked. “A leader with a clue. How I have longed for this day!”
Ask “Where is he being kept?”
Nephrite smirked. “She had him dumped with the garbage.”
“Dumped with the rest of the Negatrash!” quipped Rei.
Ami smiled in response.
“So what now, Master?” asked Setsuna.
