Gynoid (Akane) suddenly flashed red and disappeared into her pokeball.
Professor Oak picked up the balls, and went to where he knew Ash was. He'd have to give the lecture about keeping his pokegirls under control. Levy some punishment against the boy, but particularly against Akane.
Then he'd turn him loose with a warning.
Oh, he wasn't going to punish Ash too harshly. The boy was just getting started, he'd never been exactly the brightest lamp in the array, and it had clearly not been his idea. Yet the boy WAS supposed to be the Master, and he was the responsible party when you boiled it all down to the precipitate.
Akane on the other hand. What to do?
Pausing momentarily, Professor Oak opened a cabinet until he found the proper device.
Minsc and Boo watched as a stunned Akane was briefly materialized, had a collar snapped into place on her neck, and was then returned to her pokeball.
"What was that?" asked Minsc as Ash was led off by Professor Oak.
"Squee squee squee squeaker squee," explained Boo. (Type 4 Control Collar. Keyed to the Master's voice, you use a command like 'sit' or 'stay' or something like that - and it will force the one collared to do so.)
"Minsc is glad you didn't do anything to get punished," said Minsc, not following Boo's explanation but realizing that Ash was in trouble.
"Squee," said Boo, hiding the two pokeballs she'd managed to fill.
