Ash returned her to the pokeball. He still had only enough money for one bus trip and he was going to have to figure things out there.
Of course this was Ash. His pokemon were normally smarter than he was. He could just understand their advice now.
"Do you suppose there's any more like Dryad and that Genie?" Pikachu asked.
"I don't know," said Ash. "I suppose we ought to look."
Pikachu nodded. "And then what?"
Ash winced. "I guess I'd have to capture them so I can bring them to the Professor and ask for help."
Pikachu considered that briefly. "Maybe Ash could just ask them to come along with Ash?"
"They normally don't charge for bus tickets if the pokemon can fit in your lap, but they do for the larger pokemon, and some they don't allow on a bus without pokeballing anyway." Ash whined.
"Don't whine, Ash. It not dignified."
"Sorry." Ash slumped. Being lectured on manners by a pokemon. How embarassing.
"Isn't that one of the boxes described by da boss?" Meowth pointed.
Jessie and James stared. "Yeah!"
"Great. Grabbit and we'll look for more." Meowth chuckled. This caper was gonna be easy!
