Man-At-Arms finished entering the search criteria and turned back to the group huddled around his viewscreen. They were in the war room. Adam, Randor, Teela, Marlena, Roboto, Sy-Klone, Mekanek, and Ram-Man waited impatiently as the captain readied the machine.
"I've brought up the image data from Teela's encounter with the stranger, I'll warn you - the footage is shocking."
Teela blushed. "You've got cameras in the showers?"
"Just the dungeon washrooms for cases like this." He hit 'play'.
Adam smirked when Teela squeezed between the male stranger's legs, earning him baleful stares from the girl in question and his parents. Ram-Man made the unfortunate decision that Teela's on-screen boldness warranted a wolf-whistle and found himself embedded in the far wall courtesy of her snake-staff. Once the recording reached the point where they left the room the view switched to the corridor camera.
"I picked up this weird curse in China that made me like this...er, I really didn't mean for that ta happen..." The Ranma on screen blushed and fidgeted with his new clothing.
The recorded Teela raised an eyebrow. "Never heard of Chy-Na. Where is it?"
"You've never heard of China? What country am I in?"
"You're not in a country, you're in the Kingdom of Eternia."
"Never heard of Eternia."
Teela frowned. "Where are you from?"
Real-life Teela took that moment to interupt. "I thought he was a spy for the Horde so-"
"Shh!" Marlena hissed at the young guardswoman.
Recorded Ranma scratched the back of his head. "Ah...well, I come from Japan."
"That a planet?"
"Er...no, Japan is a country on Earth."
Man-At-Arms stopped the playback. Marlena had a panic-stricken look on her face. The Masters just looked uncomfortable.
"So the question is, how do we rescue the boy?"
"A frontal attack is out of the question. Skeletor would be able to wait us out or kill the boy." Duncan hit a button on the console and a hologram of Snake Mountain and the surrounding area appeared. Arrows converged from seven directions, each pointing to a different entrance. "Here are the known entry points recorded since Skeletor moved in, minus the portal to the Void."
"I still can't believe that this stranger is not the Enchantress! She looks exactly like her," Randor exclaimed.
Man-At-Arms paused the hologram. "I believe that this may be the Enchantress, or at least one of her descendants."
Randor frowned and scratched the underside of his beard. "Explain, Duncan."
"The last time the Enchantress appeared she was accompanied by Count Marzo, whom Captain Miro defeated and the Elders sealed. The Enchantress was captured-"
"Yes, yes, Duncan," Randor waved impatiently, "we know of all this."
"I don't," Queen Marlena intoned dangerously, "and neither does Adam." Randor grinned nervously.
"During his questioning of the Enchantress, Miro became the focus of her attention to the point where she willingly provided information on Morgoth the Destroyer in exchange for a kiss from Miro."
"Randor! You didn't tell me your father was such a ladykiller!" Marlena giggled.
"My mother didn't think it so funny," Randor bit back. Duncan cleared his throat loudly to draw back their attention.
"In any case, the Enchantress continued this type of bahvior for the next few years and eventually security became lax, so much so that she was allowed access to the Chambers of Wisdom for several hours a week."
"I can't believe grandpa's be so clueless! She was obviously just using it as a ruse to lure him into a false sense of-"
"Don't be so quick to judge him Adam, Miro did not allow such a thing without reason." Man-At-Arms switched the hologram to a representation of Captain Miro and Kirak Ungol 'The Enchantress'. "She was allowed into the annals of knowledge by the Elders themselves.
"In the intervening period between her capture and escape, Miro and his wife begat Randor and three years later...Keldor."
