"And this makes a whole lot of sense," Haruka groused, leaning against the window jam as she listened to Setsuna's words.
It isn't like I get clear images, you know.
"Yeah, but something a little more... focused might help. Just a bit."
I'll remember to tell the forces of destiny and fate that you'd like a more obvious picture of what would happen to you.
The short haired blonde gave a slightly mocking, but very wry smile. "Gee, thanks. It might be nice to have that once in a while."
"Come on now," Makoto admonished, glancing over her shoulder at the other transformed Senshi. "It isn't like she's not trying."
"I know, but the frustrating thing is that they don't exactly tell you what you need to know. Or rather, they tell you exactly what's going to happen, but you can only recognize how that is in hindsight."
"Yes, but at least we have that. You have a problem with what we have available?"
"Only in that it can hurt as much as it might help. I mean, working on half the information on what you're facing could get you into trouble when what you need to know is in the half that you don't know."
"That's true enough."
"And you're taking it easy because...."
"I take it like I used to take movie trailers. As something that gives me glimpses into what I could see, but might not really tell me what the movie's about."
"Oh...." the racer turned magical card breathed as waggled a finger in approval of the concept.
I'm not some kind of theater, Setsuna flatly stated.
"I know that you're not," Makoto replied, letting a wry smile curve her lips. "But the thing is that it's just like that. And to tell the truth, it was the same way that I took some of Rei's visions. I mean, she didn't get it all."
Except what she could, and I am able to, see were things that could very likely come true.
"Exactly. So, if you don't treat it as only a little bit of the whole thing...."
"You won't assume that you've got it all," Haruka finished.
There was a tone of amused approval in the Time Card's 'voice'. You girls do learn rather well.
"Thanks. But that still leaves us with those 'keys four'."
"And those 'maids'," the younger girl-turned-card reminded the blonde. "Just what that could mean, I don't know. I mean, they could be servants...."
"Well, at least that holds the possibility of getting to face some girls in some... interesting little uniforms."
The former 'Sailor Jupiter' rolled her eyes. "You have to tease, don't you?"
"Pretty much. But I wouldn't mind a good view, especially if the rest of it won't be fun."
May I remind you that 'maids' could also simply young girls, as in 'maidens'? drawled Setsuna.
"Ah, yes, could be the case...."
"In the mean time, we should keep an eye out for suspicious people around here. Who knows who this new bad guy will be," Makoto suggested.
"More towards girls."
"Not about to get Michiru jealous, hmm?"
"What? No, not really. I'm serious. How many of our enemies have been girls? And it certainly seems like they're female this time."
"Ah...."
"I just hope that we can get a chance to be ready for this. I have a feeling that it's going to be a pain in the ass as it is," the 'Windy' card grumbled, while:
