“I mean,” Haruka continued, “what girl expects to come home and find her girlfriend in bed with a guy,” finished Haruka.
Ranma just sighed as he shut off the shower. He should know, his memories said that. While he wasn’t faithful to one girl; they understood that he neither wanted nor expect monogamy. This of course confused him, as his memories were still mostly of the Ranma who had little understanding of what monogamy meant.
It was a big word.
He frowned at that. Was he really that different? He wanted to be faithful ... right?
Of course, he had other issues first to worry about. “Um ... not to be a pain or anything, but can you get me a towel.”
“You took a shower and forgot to get a towel?” Haruka asked with a slight smirk.
“Well, I wasn’t really thinking straight,” he growled.
The smirk quickly faded. “Oh, right. Here,” she said, removing her robe, as she handed it to him.
“Are you sure?” he asked from behind the curtain.
“Since you turn into a girl, I haven’t got anything you haven’t seen before,” she said, trying to ignore the bad feeling she was getting from being nude near him. “But I definitely don’t want to see ... that ... on you.” What ‘that’ she was referring to was answered by where her free hand was pointing.
“Oh ... okay,” he said, putting the small robe on.
“But we are so going to talk about this in the morning,” she said with a hint of finality.
“Okay,” Ranma responded quickly, being far too used to what angry tomboys were like if you ... disagreed with them. He really didn’t want to take a trip into LEO with only a bath robe on.
But he had no sooner pulled the curtain and stepped out, that the door opened quickly, sending the short haired nude blond into him and sending them both to the floor.
Michiru smiled as she quickly opened the door, planning on telling Ranma that he could return to the bedroom.
What she hadn’t expected to find was her female lover minus her robe, lying atop of him on the floor. “Is there something you wish to tell me, Haruka?” she asked in the sweet you-are-in-so-much-trouble voice.
“It’s an accident!” yelped Ranma quickly, trying to back away from Michiru, which only ended up creating a worm-like movement towards the shower basin.
Giggling a bit, Michiru smiled. “Now if you two are done; I want to get some sleep, and I really don’t care whose in the bed; but someone who isn’t fighting or acting stupid better be.”
As she left Haruka could only gulp. She's so scary when she's like that. Slowly sitting up, she turned towards Ranma, only to realize their position. “Eep!” she cried, hopping back from straddling him.
Ranma just ignored her embarrassment, still staring after Michiru. “Why do I get the sudden feeling that not being in that bed in a few minutes will be a very bad thing?”
“Just stay on one side and I’ll stay on the other,” grumbled Haruka. “And no hankie-panky.”
“But I don’t have a runny nose,” he said with confusion.
“And put on some shorts!”
