“Damn it,” growled Genma. “Soun, can’t your daughter point us to some food we can eat?” the part time panda demanded.
The Tendo patriarch blinked at that. “She can?”
Cologne chanced a glance at the girl still holding onto Ranma. “Well child, is there food on this island safe for humans to partake?” she asked, hoping that since Nabiki was now a fae, the magic in her would identify such.
Nabiki paused for a bit, her finger on her chin, as she thought. “I believe some fruit trees once existed to the west of here, remnants from a group of travelers from the Human World.”
“Let’s go!” yelled Genma, taking off like a rocket.
“But we can’t go that way,” added Nabiki as the man took off.
“Why?” asked Ranma. The only reason he hadn’t darted ahead of the Old Man was because of the snow fae attached to his arm.
“Aside from several gullies and living vines, there are several trees which are filled with magic.”
Cologne sighed. “And these trees would have fruit not seen in our world.”
Nabiki nodded.
“Great,” said Akane, trying hard to stop from rubbing her thighs together, or staring at Ranma’s backside. “I wonder what the baka will get himself changed into.”
“Hopefully something we don’t need to worry about,” sighed Cologne. “Is there a path around those obstacles?”
Nabiki nodded. “I believe this way.”
