Still, they looked enough alike for Nightshade to be currently setting her sights upon Sailor Moon.
Of course, it wasn't exactly Nightshade's fault that she had made the mistake in identification with the current Senshi set up. Sailor V had used a uniform that had a red bow and a blue skirt. She also hadn't exactly been made aware of the fact that there were other such girls running around, and that they were apparently a team. Nor did she exactly have much of an example of experiencing an encounter with her 'rival'.
As such, what happened was perfectly understandable. Nightshade, believing that she had finally found her opponent, waited until the girl was in the position that she wanted, and then leapt into action. This gave her the element of surprise, and allowed her to get the first strike in.
Had it not been a chain toss at Sailor Moon, it might have worked out better. Instead, the chain got caught upon the blonde's arm as she tried to get away. That made it so that when the Senshi tripped and fell, she pulled her attacker down with her.
Pulling her face out of the dirt, and spitting leaves out of her mouth, Nightshade growled under her breath. She was not about to let her rival use her own attacks against her. This time, she'd be serious!
Unfortunately, the attack with the pair of batons didn't work out quite well, given that a panicking Sailor Moon wound up screeching, and darting out of the way of any strike. "Hold still for my strikes, damn you!"
"No way!" yelped the Senshi of the Moon as she tried desperately to avoid what she thought was most likely a friend of Ami's brother, while:
