Akane kept her mouth shut before and during breakfast.
It wasn't three days before Ranma's visit. That had just been the date circled on the calender and once she'd remembered that was Sayuri's birthday, Akane had started figuring out details.
It was one month and one day before Ranma showed up. Commencement speeches.
More to the point, today was the day Kuno would make his commencement speech and declare that to date Akane Tendo would require that she be beaten.
The question before Akane was:
Did she accept this? Was it all destined to play out the way she remembered it?
Did she dare to change things? Had her plea to have things go differently been answered?
The moment came, Nabiki would leave early by a few minutes. Accept the future she knew or try to change things?
