Chained Kaede: State Of Denial [Episode 189551]

by Kender

"Just great," Ranma muttered, running his hand through his hair. "I didn't expect this ta be how things worked out."

Konoka's expression took on a tinge of hurt. "You don't like the idea of marrying me?"

"No, no, no! That's not it!"

"Oh, that's a relief. I don't think that I'd like it if this arrangement didn't go well."

He looked at the brightly smiling girl and found himself unable to deny her the pleasure of their engagement. "I suppose that I did ask for this... sorta...."

"You did?"

"I was the one who said that I'd marry ya back then. And, if nothin' else, I ain't one ta run on what I say."

That set Setsuna's eyes to narrowing even further, to where she could only see him. A part of her wondered if he really recognized just how much he had affected her life. After all, he was the one who was pulling her dearest companion into an arranged marriage, and who had been involved in all sorts of compromising situations with Konoka over the years. Then there had been how the two of them had seen her wings, and he had commented on how he'd called her soft back then. But the worst of it was that he hadn't even recognized exactly what he had done to her.

Ranma Saotome, her princess' intended, and resident martial artist idiot, had promised Setsuna that he would marry her too.

It had been back when she'd been first agitated over how they'd seen her wings. For her, that had been a major issue, and was something that would have been expected to cause her to have to leave her home, never to return again. Had her princess been the only one to wish for her to stay, it might have been enough, but he had put his own two cents in as well. Apparently, he hadn't liked the idea of her leaving either, and had insisted that she stay. When she had informed him that she had no bonds that would allow that sort of action, she had been asked as to why it was so important that she leave. In response, she'd informed him that her wings, and the heritage that they represented, would not allow her to have a home, never mind a husband and family of her own, he had answered her without thinking.

"Then I'll marry ya," he had told her, clearly at a loss as to what was proper right then. "We'll be husband and wife, 'kay?"

As marriage proposals went, it wasn't exactly the best, but she wasn't exactly sure that she'd get something better. Of course, it came from the boy who tended to get into situations with Konoka where the latter wound up in little, if any, clothing. That alone was enough to make her wonder about his behavior, but his seeming disregard for propriety was enough to annoy her a great deal. It simply could not be 'jealousy' or 'envy', as she bore no ill will towards her dear princess. She was a warrior, trained to wield her blade with confidence and complete control, not some silly schoolgirl who'd stumble at the idea of her closest friend getting into erotic positions with a certain martial artist. Her mind wasn't about to be dragged off onto daydreams where Setsuna herself would be the wife that he turned to slake his desires and bear his children. And she certainly wasn't about to imagine herself waking up in the same bed with both Ranma and Konoka again.

"Hey? Are ya alright?" the pigtailed boy asked, frowning with concern.

"Hmm?" said the village princess. "Is something wrong with her?"

"She's growling."

"I can hear it too. And see it. The funny thing is that it looks like she's frustrated."

"Maybe she doesn't like the idea of us excluding her."

Ranma blinked and gave a slow nod of understanding. "I think that I can understand that."

"You can?"

"Well, she is standing right here, isn't she?"

"Exactly. There is something that I think that will help her though," commented the long haired girl.

"And that is...."

"Including her."

"How?"

"Simple. A threesome."

It took only a moment for the words to filter into Setsuna's mind, seconds for their meaning to be recognized, and her response to them was immediate.

Konoka giggled as the swordswoman's eyes rolled up into her head, and she fell over like a marionette that had its strings cut. "Secchan is so gullible...."

For his part, Ranma wondered what his fiancee had said that had been shocking enough to make the other girl faint, while:
