Ranma snapped awake. The dreams he got after eating Akane's cooking had been getting weirder and weirder.
Ranma got out of bed- er, futon- and got dressed mumbling something about neon mushrooms. Then he remembered what was going on today. Miss Hinako had gone to the hospital for an illness and Akane had talked Ranma into visiting her.
He finished pulling on his clothes and dashed into the hall, bumping into Akane, who was coming upstairs to bash him awake. Thinking he bumped into her to do something perverted, Akane brought her mallet down on his head, as usual.
After breakfast, they caught a bus across town to the hospital, which broke down halfway there, problems, fiances, glomping, malleting, Kunou's, running for your life...
Yep, just another day in Nerima.
When they finally got to the hospital, Ranma had several lumps on his head, and Akane hadn't even bothered putting away her mallet. They entered the hospital- and stopped.
