Momoko Akatsutsumi was eating some cherry flavored sticks and reading a newspaper article. She giggled a bit upon reading it. Upon hearing the laughter, her eight-year-old sister, Kuriko, looked up from watching the show MakaRanger during a commercial break.
"Big sister, what's so funny?"
"Oh, the Mayor got hung up by his underwear by a mole-man by the name of Uneo," Momoko replied. "Maybe the next time, he'll leave Miss Keane alone when she's on a date."
"What does your teacher have to do with a mole-man?" Kuriko asked a bit confused.
"Uneo is her boyfriend," Momoko replied.
"Oh," Kuriko replied and then shook her head. "Sis, do you think the Powerpuff Girls will show up once more?"
"No reason for them to at the moment. Him has been defeated. The only ones that might cause a problem is Princess or Mojo," Momoko replied.
"What about Shirogane Z? Will she go back to heroing?"
Momoko grimaced at that. "I'm not sure. She seems to have everything you hate in Blossom."
Kuriko shifted a bit uncomfortably at that. "Well... She saved them, didn't she?"
"I overheard Mojo complaining about being set up by her shortly after that little display," Momoko replied, and shook her head. "He was purchasing ice cream when I heard him."
"Why didn't the Powerpuff Girls capture him then?"
"Why should they? He was buying food like everyone else and he was set up. As to not capturing Shirogane Z, there must have been some reason. Although after that final fight with Him, I think she'll be a little more cautious in trying to humiliate them," Momoko said. "The commercial is over."
The two girls watched the end of the MakaRanger program and cheered when the MakaRangers combined their mecha to defeat the monster of the episode. Kuriko went to her room to read some Shinesman manga. Momoko was about to head to her room, when she felt a pulse at her stomach and heard a beeping sound that only she could hear. She rushed to her room, closed the door and opened a window. Taking a deep breath, she pulled a red compact from her belt and opened it up.
"Professor Utonium, what's the problem?" Momoko said into the videophone that was in her compact.
The view-screen suddenly had three lines created separate view-screens. On one screen was Professor Utonium. One screen had Miyako Gotokuji on it and the final screen had Kaoru Matsubara.
"Problem? You could say that. Transform and I'll tell you here at the lab."
Across the city there were three calls.
"Hyper Blossom!"
"Rolling Bubbles!"
"Powered Buttercup!"
From three separate locations a beam of light colored red, blue or green launched from a house and converged on a lab near the outskirts of the city. A man wearing lab coat came out and waved the girls inside where they met up with a robot dog and a boy about the same age as Kuriko.
"Girls, it's good to see you. There's a problem that needs to be taken care of."
"What is it?" Blossom asked.
Professor Utonium replied, "It is...."
