Then she heard the sound of castanets playing, and frowned for a moment. "Ran... Er, Thor?"
"Eh?" said a familiar voice, ruining the whole 'dramatic edge' of the entrance.
"Could it be...."
"Trying for help I see. But I won't let you get away with that...." Nightshade began, leaning menacingly towards the blonde... until a rose stabbed stem first like a dagger into the ground between them.
"Tuxedo Kamen!" Moon chirped, smiling brightly.
"Sorry for the late arrival, Sailor Moon," the man in the formal wear replied from his position on a tree branch. "But you all left so quickly, it didn't give me a chance to catch up until now."
"Which means...."
"I'm here."
Nightshade looked at the rather lovely rose, pursed her lips, and then turned her gaze up at the tall man up above them. For a long moment, she seemed to be deep in thought, as it seemed that her mind was far away. But it soon came back, and she apparently had come to a very clear decision regarding something.
"You, who threw this most darling of flowers!" the would be vigilante cried out.
"Who?" Tuxedo Kamen replied, a bit lamely. "Me?"
"Yes, you! You seem to be rather astute in the ways of nobility and dignity. And from your use of this blossom, it is certain that you have a certain understanding of the power of such things. Which means that there can be only one conclusion."
"And that is...."
"You are the perfect man to have at my side! OH-HOHOHOHOHO!" Nightshade declared.
"Now, wait a moment...."
"There is nothing to wait for. Every heroine must have her dashing male counterpart! Our moment is at hand!"
"But there's another...."
"What does that matter? No such girl could be as deserving of you as me, and even if she thinks that she can have you, that is...." the dark haired girl trailed off.
"Moon Tiara Action," Sailor Moon simply said.
Watching the other girl get hit by the attack so hard that she went flying backwards until she hit a massive tree, Tuxedo Kamen blinked. "Why... did you do that?"
"I.... I'm not sure," the blonde admitted, looking rather confused herself. "All I know was that I just sort of... let it off. And...."
"What?"
"She did say that she wanted to see something of me that wasn't there for Sailor V...."
Sailor Mercury wasn't totally unused to having to deal with pain, as having to deal with accidents, gym class, the exercises that her brother had shown her, and being a Sailor Senshi had given her enough experiences in that regard. There had even been plenty of times when she'd awoken with a sore body at the very least. In those instances, she took a long moment to recognize the problem, and then fell into using what her family had available to ease the aches and pain.
However, those times had her opening her eyes to her room, and normally didn't have her seeing her brother standing there with trees and open sky behind him.
"Nice of you to join us again," Ranma said, glancing down at her as she sat up. "Take it easy, will you?"
"I will. But.... What happened?" she asked, clearly not in a hurry to go anywhere.
"Other than it seems that something strange's going on out there? I'm not sure. But I do know that it seems that you got knocked out."
"I did?"
He nodded and fingered the wooden stick that became Thor's hammer. "Makoto brought you back."
"She... did?"
"Yup. Carried you all the way here herself. I turned back to my normal self, and met up with her, which was how you got here."
"Oh," Ami murmured softly, looking at her lap, while:
