"Acting a mentor to my younger android self seems promising, but to have Sister Jill as an actual sister? That version of me will need my help," Honey said.
"You have to understand, that there are two sets of worlds very close to each other. The one main difference is that uncle I mentioned, other than that, things are common on both worlds," Susano said.
"Still, let me get to the Honey Comet," Honey said.
Honey headed back into her house and looked around. Susano calmly followed her, after picking up his sword.
"Chokei got married to that girl and his parents have straightened out. I think Danbei is on a training trip somewhere," Honey said.
"True. However, Danbei has only a month to live. His body is about to give out, even though he is a cyborg. Just write a note and say that you found a place that needs your help and went there and didn't want to endanger anyone," Susano stated.
"Which is true in a way," Honey muttered.
"True."
Honey quickly did so and boarded her personal jet. As soon as the Honey Comet left the grounds a portal opened up in the air. Honey glanced down and saw Susano nod. She flew the jet into the portal and into another world. Once in the other world, she used the scanners on the Honey Comet to look around. She quickly saw that things weren't as advanced as the world she had just left. She focused the scanner onto a newspaper stand and read the date and chuckled when she found out that this world was close to thirty years into the past for her.
"I need to find out if my counterpart is alive or even activated at this point."
Honey found a secluded spot to set the Honey Comet down. She frowned a bit and hunted for a cave that existed in her world. She found it and shook her head.
"Panther Claw didn't use this cave in this world as a secret base. I guess I can use it, after I use a bit of Honey magic."
Honey spent the rest of the day preparing the cave for her own use. She quickly moved the Honey Comet into the new launch platform and smiled.
"Things are looking up. I guess I should hack into a computer system and set up an identity as a second cousin. It won't be the first time two related people have had the same name."
Since Honey was from an alternate future, the computer that she had set up in her base using her ACU was far more advanced than what was currently available and was easily able to break into the records office and place her name and a job as a detective in the computer. Over the next week, Honey used the Honey Comet to head out to the ocean brought up sunken treasure to create a bank account with money in it. She was then ready to tackle dealing with her other self.
"Well, I had better find out what's going on with my father's counterpart," Honey muttered.
The android girl used her computer to pull up the records of Doctor Kisarigi and Nat-chan. She blinked when she saw the picture.
"That doesn't look like my dad at all and Nat-chan never wore her hair like that," Honey muttered.
She typed a little bit more and laughed to herself. "There is no Danbei here. He might have been a pervert, but he did help out quite a bit."
Honey found the location of Doctor Kisarigi's lab and sighed.
"I can't put it off any longer. I have to know."
Honey changed her appearance so that she had brown hair and brown eyes, instead of her usual blonde hair. She found the lab and thought back to her own beginnings and typed in what she hoped was the entrance code. The doors slid open and Honey carefully entered the lab. She found some journals that she wanted to read later and found a reference to a Professor Utsugi. There was a mention of him getting sick, but Honey didn't pursue to see if he survived his sickness, since she wanted to see the fate of her other self. She proceeded into a room where she blinked in shock. She saw her other self suspended in a tank of liquid and the skeleton of what she figured was this world's Doctor Kisarigi lying on the floor.
"My hair was short and red when I was turned on and I was never suspended in a liquid like she is," Honey muttered.
Honey looked through the journals and found out the fate of Doctor Utsusgi. A bit of Susano's story made sense.
"Utsugi is the main difference between the two world groups. If he's alive, it's one world. If he's dead, it's the other. At least I know which one I'm in now. Now to see if I can get my counterpart to wake up and I'm going to have to train her, if she will wake up. If I can't get her to wake up quickly, I'm going to have to work on her."
