Shirokuro, muzzle resting on her crossed front paws, opened her eyes. Her ears turned toward the main entrance of the Hibiki home, and she lifted her head once certain there was someone opening the door. No doubt her young master and his mate, upstairs, didn’t hear anything, as they were too busy making puppies.
Letting out a muted “Woof!”, the black-and-white dog then rose up and trotted down the hall. She was ready to defend the house against any intruder, but instead she barked happily in welcome when she recognized...
