The energy of the stone discharged into Jesse. She stiffened up as the energy played around her. James and Meowth watched stunned as Jesse's skin and hair gained a metallic sheen and her clothes started shifting around.

James backed up and tripped over a root, while Meowth just kept staring

James drops a Pokeball and captures Jesse by accident
They wait to hear Jesse's first word.
Jesse freaking out, stiffly runs away.
