"Doesn't 'macho' mean manly in some language?" Akane was wondering if maybe Ranma's mother had named these planets.
"Yes, they were named by a woman of my acquaintance in my youth. She didn't like men very much," cackled Cologne's analogue. "Her attitude was that the only way you'd want to colonize any of these worlds was through stupid masculine pride and sheer stubborness. She wrote the entire system off as 'worthless as a male'."
Bing and Bang shook their heads at that, disagreeing totally.
"Naturally there were things she'd missed," continued Ku Loren. "Radioactive ores in great supply are on Mucho Macho. Large deposits of petrochemicals on Macho Baka. Odd crystalline growths on Macho Grande proved to have psionic properties."
"Macho Grande is a sort of hub for criminal activities," put in Xiang. "The Hutt and several other enclaves have outposts there. Sort of a common meeting ground for scum and villainy. Sort of like Mos Eisley but bigger."
"Naturally, security is tight. Sneaking in will be a problem, and I will not come along with you for that fight," said Ku Loren. "The crystals make it dangerous for a Force-sensitive to be on the planet. The main reason that it was ideal for the criminal marketplace to set up shop there. The other problems will include such fun items as automated asteroid sentry bases, the constant storm the world is enveloped by - though you won't have to worry about rain at least, and that everyone you meet there is amoral at best."
"Oh great," said Akane.
"That's where Red is, therefore that's where we're going," said Xiang.
"So," said Spider. "I guess I'm staying with the old bat."
"Actually," said Xiang,
