Slayers RESET: Lina goes for the stone [Episode 19385]

by Disruptor

Lina grasped Galvayra and thought to herself, 'I have to get rid of Naga. Being thrown back in time is annoying. I have to face Phibrizo, Gaav, and Shabrnigdo again. Wait a sec.....'

Line quickly remembered just how Shabranigdo was reborn the first time around.

'I think it's time to pay a visit to the Dragon Fangs and if I play it right, I can get Naga off my tail for a while.'

"RAYWING" Lina said as she flew off towards a certain bandit hideout.

"Oh no, Lina" Naga said, as she took off after Lina, "You aren't cutting me out of any sweet deals."

'Perfect. Although I don't want to give Naga a lot of money, it'll be worth it to get the Philospher's Stone. But, I have to do it my way.'

Lina grinned as she flew along. After a while, a mountain fortress came into view. Landing, she started casting her fireballs, mega-brandos and other spells of destruction at the various bandits, ignoring thier scream of horror and fear.

Naga came up behind Lina and said, "You're not cutting me out of any treasure Lina. I still haven't forgiven you for getting those things without me."

Between the two of them, the bandit gang was ruthlessly crushed. Lina looked up and carefully blew the top of the mountain apart with a Dragon Slave and killed the bandit leader's black dragon pet.

"Why did you cast the Dragon Slave for?" Naga demanded.

Lina pointed behind her with her thumb. "There was a dragon up there. I didn't want to deal with it if it broke loose while looting the place."

"Oh."

Lina went through the bandit's lair and found the treasure trove. She quickly spotted the Orihalcum Statue she wanted. She quickly grabbed it, while Naga gathered up her own treasure. After getting loaded down with what she thought was a decent load of gems and gold, she stood up and wiated for something.

"Well, this makes up a bit for running off on your own," Naga said. "But, you should still split the loot with me."

"MEGA-BRANDO!!!!"

Seeing her spell had knocked Naga out, Lina smiled. 'The Dragon Fangs are all dead. She should be safe here. I don't want to leave this much treasure behind, but I have to do something while I have the time.'

Lina quickly flew out of the bandit's lair hunting for something. Spotting a rocky chasm, Lina headed for it. She landed near a very large and pointed boulder.

"Perfect. Now all I have to do is break the statue."

Being very careful, Lina used some alchemial spells to get to the Philsopher's Stone and leave the statue somewhat undamaged. She quickly put the stone in a secure pouch and then flew up above the chasm. Taking careful aim, she threw the statue at the boulder and watched in satisfaction as it shattered.

'Now then. If anyone tries to find the stone, they'll come across the remnants of the Orihalcum and figure it is lost among the ordinary stones. Should keep them busy for a while. Now to replace one of the gems in my shoulder guard with the stone, after I seal up inside a gem of course'

Lina flew to an abandoned church and used some flawed gems to coat the Philospher's Stone with gem dust. Casting more spells, had the stone encased inside a gem. Removing the right shoulder gem, Lina replaced it with the hidden Philospher's Stone.

Patting her shoulder, Lina thought, 'Now if the talismans are sealed, I can call upon the Philospher's Stone if I need to. I really should find Gourry, Zel, and Amiela and see if they remember anything. Amiela would be the easies, she lives in Seyruun'

So....
