The rest of what Serena was going to say evaporated into a fit of giggles as Rei started tickling her. "Rei...stop it..." she managed to spit out between fits of laughter.
Rei finally did stop, but neither of them stopped laughing as the collapsed together back onto the bed. Rei sighed contently as she wrapped her arms around Serena and buried her face in her hair. "I love you," she mumbled against her head.
"What?" Serena asked, not being able to hear her through her own hair.
"Nothing," Rei answered quietly. She looked down at the two of them, covered in sweat. Their clothing lying in a pile next to the bed, the bedclothes on the floor right next to them. The scent of female arousal still in the air. "We should get cleaned up," she said. "I’ll take a shower first, you rest."
But she barely sat up when she felt a strong arm pull her back onto the bed. She looked up to see Serena roll on top of her and smile wickedly. "Not so fast Rei Hino, I’m not finished with you yet," she said.
She brought her face down close to Rei’s, her long hair hanging down around them, blocking out the rest of the world so that all Rei could see was Serena’s face framed in gold. Rei bit her lower lip in anticipation as Serena’s face inched closer and closer before capturing her mouth with her own. Slowly Serena’s mouth moved lower and lower. "So, why do you think Rei and Serena wanted to cancel the study meeting today?" Mina asked Lita as the pair sat on Lita’s couch.
"Well, Serena said she had a date with Darien tonight she wanted to get ready for, and Rei said that she had too much work to do around the temple," Lita said.
"That’s what they said," Mina said with a smile. "But what do you think the real reason is?"
Lita smiled too. "Probably the same reason neither of us complained," she said sliding closer to the blonde. "So they could fuck each other’s brains out."
Mina opened her mouth in mock shock, but the expression dissolved into a smile. "Such language," she said jokingly. "I’m offended."
"Really," Lita asked. She slid even closer and put her hand on top of Mina’s leg, moving higher as she spoke. "You don’t look offended."
"Well then," Mina breathed. Their faces were only inches apart now, and when Mina spoke, it was in a low whisper. "How do I look?"
Lita smiled seductively. "Good enough to eat," she cooed before capturing Mina’s mouth with her own in a searing kiss.
Mina returned the kiss with vigor, bringing her hands up to hold Lita’s face while Lita’s hands settled on her hips. Their tongues caressed and suckled one another. Mina brought her hands up and took the bow out of her hair. Once the kiss broke, she shook her head to let her hair fall loose. Lita brought her hand up to cup the other girl’s cheek. Mina leaned into the touch and smiled, then she pulled away. "If you want me, you have to catch me," she teased before taking off down the hallway of Lita’s apartment.
Lita gave chase, following the giggling blonde into her bedroom where she jumped up onto the bed. Lita stopped in the doorway. "Looks like I’ve got you cornered," she said with a seductive smile on her face.
"Looks like," Mina agreed. She rose to her knees on Lita’s bed and slowly pulled on the bow on the front of her school uniform. Then she opened the top and slid it off her shoulders, revealing a lacey white bra underneath. Mina slid her hands down her own body, closing her eyes. Her hands settled on her hips and she slowly began to push her skirt down. Lita was licking her lips with anticipation, but kept her place, wanting to let the show last as long as Mina wanted. Mina opened her eyes again and locked her gaze on Lita. She fell back onto the bed slightly as she pulled the skirt free from her legs and tossed it aside, never taking her eyes of the tall brunette in the doorway. Lita saw that the panties Mina wore matched the bra, white lace. It was all she could do to keep from closing the distance between them and ravishing Mina right that second. Mina continued the show, unclasping her bra from behind and slowly sliding the straps off each shoulder. Ami walked home alone that day, her face stoic. She had managed to listen to Serena and Rei’s excuses for not studying without breaking down and crying in front of them, but seeing Mina and Lita smiling at each other out of the corner of her eye certainly didn’t help matters. It wasn’t that she wasn’t happy for her friends, she was. She just felt so hurt. Her four best friends in the world had paired off and left her to twist in the wind. And lately even when they were together, she felt like such a fifth wheel. But the worst part of it all had to be the fact that her friends didn’t even seem to notice. They just went on like everything was honky-dory and expected Ami not to notice how things had changed. Did they think she was stupid? Or maybe they just didn’t care about her anymore. It sure seemed like that sometimes.
Ami tried to push these thoughts away and focus on the task at hand, namely Rei’s latest vision. The details were sketchy, but combined with the odd energy readings she had been picking up with her mini-computer it was enough to make Ami want to investigate further. She had accessed the Internet through the computers at school today, and ran a search on the information she had so far. She got a hit on an ancient prophecy that spoke of a convergence of energy, and the rising of creatures that had never been seen before. The prophecy was vague, but to Ami it seemed that it was talking about the Nega-Force, and it’s mixing with some kind of demonic force that was focused around a dormant gateway to hell. Somewhere on the Western coast of the United States. Maybe Luna would be able to help her track it down better.
In the mean time it gave Ami something to think about to take her mind off of her personal problems. She might even be able to take out some of her aggression on some Nega-creeps. As she arrived home and looked in her mirror, thinking about that thought, she looked deep within her own eyes. She felt the pain and rejection and turmoil that most teenagers felt as they became adults, coupled with her own insecurity, along with the responsibility of being a Sailor Scout. There was a fire in her eyes that would almost make someone feel sorry for the NegaVerse. Ami just let out a sigh as she dropped her book bag and lay back on her bed, closing her eyes.
"I need a vacation."
