"U-huh!" Considering that it was technically her reflection that had the look of abject horror on its face--and its tail, and...well, everywhere--Chrysi Cat clinically registered that she should probably be feeling sicker herself. That said...she wasn't.
"Do I even want to know where you left it?"
"Rumiko Takahashi's version of Nerima-ku, where else? I mean, it 'frees' a person from a curse by creating a duplicate of the cursed form..."
"...And that duplicate can spread the curse by the original method they were cursed...and better yet, the original can still return to the curse-form...though since it's by willing it, I doubt anyone would...I guess I could be wrong, though..."
"Yep...I figured that half the people who could touch it were gonna have duplicates furious enough to start randomly spreading their curse...Eris laughs tonight!"
"How exactly did you plan to get them to touch the diamond in the first place?"
"Oh, that's the really fun part...I dropped it into the world as if it had always been there, with only the first part of the information about it...the part Tedd and Grace were able to find before taking Elliot to touch it? Y'know, that it 'frees people of their curse'?"
"You truly are sick...that'd ensure the entire cast would be chasing after it for one reason or another...so I guess the big question is, who got it?"
