Hotaru was floored by what she'd just learned, which she hadn't expected to hear when Michiru-mama had handed her the phone.
"I'll be there in half an hour Nabiki-san. See you soon." She said grinning as she handed Michiru the phone. And vanished in a purple flash.
"Looks like someone's eager."
Michiru muttered, "... I didn't know she could so that." And the more clearly said. "I'm sorry Nabiki it seem' Hotaru's gone out shopping for something to wow Ranma with. She just left in a flash." Michiru said making full use of the implementation metaphor while not lying. " Well I'm not surprised." Nabiki chuckled "Well I'd better call Ranma's mother. Have a nice day Michiru-san"
"You too, Nabiki-chan." Michiru said said she and Nabiki hung up
15 minutes later in an outfit that would wow her husband. Hotaru was on her way to the Tend dojo. As she walked under her parson she spotted a familiar figure fighting a panda and she knew. Her husband was back! It didn't matter why he was fighting a panda, he was right in front of her! So she tossed her parasol aside and started running towards him.
"DANNA-SAMA!" A voice yelled.
Ranma recognized that voice. It was the beautiful voice of his adorable, beautiful, dearly beloved wife. That he was a girl, currently, suddenly didn't matter. His wife was coming toward him in an impressive flying glomp with a double somersault and a full twist.
GLOMP!
Two people and a panda held up score cards.
[10] said a card held up by a woman.
[10] said a score card held up by the panda.
[7.5] said a score card held up by a man.
The argument that ensued was ignored.
Ranma caught her just as she knew he would.
"Tadaima, Anata" Ranma said and that was all Hotaru needed to hear.
"Okaeri nasai, Danna-sama." Hotaru said and All was right with the world.
She noticed Ranma was a girl but decided it was unimportant as she gave Ranma his welcome home kiss. Meanwhile :
