Great Will: Pride Cometh [Episode 197877]

by Kender

For most little girls, playing games and being with friends was something that they tended to enjoy. They spent their time playing with dolls in some cases, and running around parks in others, but the main thing was that they tended to be rather able to be carefree. No one expected them to do much in the way of shocking anyone, and they spent plenty of their time doing whatever interested them. When people thought of little girls, the idea of sweet little cherubs that could be clothed in cute dresses came to mind.

In the case of one girl from Zardon, she was currently obsessed with the concept of killing her fiance.

To be fair, she hadn't exactly killed anyone before, and wasn't about to go on some homicidal spree. She just hadn't been asked if she wanted to get married in the first place. Had someone asked if she had someone in mind, she might have admitted that she didn't, but she couldn't see herself getting wed to anyone who wasn't at her level of privilege, or higher. However, she was not only not engaged to someone of her class, but was to be the bride of a veritable caveman from some backwards little planet.

Of course, she hadn't even met her intended, but what did that matter? Smoothing out the wrinkles in her clothing, she looked out at the world below her. A simple piece of clear material kept her from being sucked out of the ship, and into orbit around the insignificant globe. Honestly, she couldn't tell quite why there was such a desire to gain an association with a world in the interstellar 'backwoods', but then she was not exactly kept up to date on all the political intrigue and wrangling. It was a pretty planet though, looking rather nice, even if its inhabitants were probably all barely evolved savages.

Still, the only way to get rid of the engagement was to get rid of the boy. If he was to marry someone else, then she would be free, but the fact was that she couldn't see how he'd give her up for someone else. Her anger supplied the only other option that she could come up with, and that was to kill him. Just how she'd do that was unclear, but she was mad enough to make the snap judgement that she wanted to do something permanent to him. After all, she couldn't fight her mother's wishes, and it couldn't be her fault, so this 'Ranma' had to be the cause of all of her hassles.

Then again, the fact that she was really just having a knee jerk reaction close to a temper tantrum never really passed through the mind of:
