Usagi's New Day: 18880: Smedley [Episode 19810]

Another thump from Rei's closet.

"Thud?"

Thud grinned. "Smedley, good, yuir here. Any info on the problem?"

"Yes, I'm afraid it's not good."

The civilian ID Senshi stirred at that voice. Deep enough and growly in tone, they could only assume that Smedley was truly monstrous.

"What's not good?" Ami asked eventually.

"His nibs has moved up the time table, he's making his move now. The current plan seems to be a sort of... does anyone know what a 'computer virus' is?"

Ami nodded, then realized that with the closet door still shut - 'Smedley' couldn't see the gesture. "Yes."

"Oh good. Fortunately he's got that villainous tendency to rant out loud. Anyway he's spreading some sort of magical version of it to infect your writing utensils. How that'll do anything is beyond me."

Thud grunted. "Well enough then. Good work Smedley. Keep an ear to the ground will you?"

"Right-o! Have you asked about the moat?"

"Get to that in just a tick," assured Thud. At a questioning glance, he elaborated. "He heard about the palace. Wants a job as a moat monster."

More shudders from Senshi who pictured all sorts of horrible creatures.

"Writing implements?" Ami said, her eyes widening. "Our transformation pens!"

Everyone pulled their little items out, except Usagi who had a brooch, and Hotaru who never used hers anyway.

"It doesn't look any different," said Rei. "Should we try it?"

Haruka smirked. Her chance to prove these beings weren't on the up and up. "Let me see. Uranus planet power MAKE UP!"
