Slayers in Viscusia: Where’s That Portal Leading To? [Episode 198467]

The shoulders of Lina’s three companions slumped fatalistically in perfect unison.

“Okay, okay... you win, Lina.  We’re with you on this one.” Zelgadis mumbled.

“We are?” Gourry asked, but then he started to sweat under Lina’s glare.  “Ah... yeah... of course.”

“So... hu... how are we going to do that?” Amelia timidly inquired.

“I’ll go first,” Lina volunteered, “ready to cast a levitation spell in case I was wrong and this curtain do nothing.  But I doubt it.  Then you’ll follow me.”

The adventurers nodded, and the sorceress turned back toward the bright pink portal.  Taking a deep breath, she mentally prepared herself.  Then, her eyes took a steely determination... and she jumped forward.

Lina Inverse went through the magical obstacle in one go; the curtain turned brighter and opaque for a short moment after she touched it, then it regained its lightly shimmering and mostly transparent nature.

Amelia and Gourry squinted their eyes to make sure, but there was no trace of a redheaded girl on the other side.  The Dragon Spooker had indeed vanished from this world!

“Maybe she fell in the hole?” Gourry pondered, clueless as usual.  Amelia slapped his arm.

“Of course not, Miss Lina would have just levitated.  She was right; it’s a dimensional door.  Now, we must follow her.”

“All right.  Let’s do this together.” Zelgadis suggested.  “One... two... THREE!”

The three heroes bravely stepped forward and traversed the magical portal, producing the same flash and opacity effect than with Lina.  A second later, the crypt was utterly empty of any living being, leaving the dismembered undeads as its sole denizens.

A few seconds earlier... on the other side of the curtain of light, right above the pit:

The dimensional door became bright and opaque when Lina Inverse touched it, masking everything from the other side... which was why the companions of the sorceress didn’t notice that something actually went through....

A pair of white boots and a pair of white gloves.

A belt with a sword in its scabbard.

Red pants as well as a red shirt with a yellow halter top.

A black cape with shoulder pads, each adorned with a large red gem.

A pair of earring, and even a black bandanna.

Not to forget the four magical amplifiers sold by Xellos, other enchanted jewelries and various valuables filling the pockets of the garment and some hiding places in the cape.

And underwear.

All of this went through the magical door... but with no petite redhead inside.

Gravity doing its work, this gear immediately fell down the pit, the heavier items dragging down the lighter clothes.

Shortly thereafter, the curtain brightened again and it was the turn of Amelia’s, Gourry’s and Zelgadis’ clothes and weaponry to cross the magical barrier... each costume puffy at first, as if still worn by invisible people... but they quickly deflated and started falling down the hole like Lina’s gear.

Deep down, in the darkness, the four sets of clothes — including Gourry’s sword of light, Zelgadis’s magic sword and Amelia’s dagger — landed atop a massive pile of boots, garments, armors, weapons, backpacks and various other equipments typical of adventurers.  Enough to fully equip dozen of parties of heroes, in fact.

Somewhere else... a vortex of yellow light shortly manifested, and a slender silhouette toped by orange-red hair burst from it.

The first thing that Lina noticed was the heat.  The crypt she just left had been freezing cold, mainly because of its undead inhabitants; this place was almost scalding hot in comparison.  Also, the air was moist, which made her feel like she just entered some steam house or hamam.  To her surprise, the floor was not only wet but also warm and spongy under her bare feet...

... Wait a minute.

Bare feet?

Blinking, Lina looked down at herself, bathed in the radiance of her own light spell.  She couldn’t say she was feeling a draft given the current heat, but she certainly was a lot lighter and less restrained than before going through the portal...

Because, she was plain and simply naked as the day she was born.

“EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKK!!!!” she screeched, instinctively covering her torso with her arms and falling to her knees, legs closed, to hide her exposed body from anyone who could have the opportunity to leer.

Shaken and trembling, Lina peered around, only now taking in her new environment.  The place looked like a natural cavern, with a low ceiling and excrescences looking a lot like stalagmites growing from the ground.  The walls, however, were a dull red with yellow veins crossing them, and like the other features of this grotto they didn’t look like they were truly made of stone.  They had, in fact, a more or less organic feeling rather than mineral.  Water was oozing out from the walls and dripping from the ceiling, adding to the very humid atmosphere.

There was a weak, reddish glow that seemed to come from nowhere and everywhere at once.  Even when Lina extinguished her spell, hoping to hide her nudity in the darkness, she realized that she could still see fairly clearly.

“Okay... what’s the meaning of this?” the nude girl soliloquized, sounding pissed.

She didn’t ponder about what happened for long, however.  A sudden flash of yellow light behind the sorceress reminded her of the dimensional door, and also that her companions should be following her....

Lina paled in sudden realization.  She wanted to move — as she barely made a step since she appeared in this world and was still right in the path of the exit portal — but her legs refused to obey.  Paralyzed, she barely had the time to yelp when a tanned, male, muscular frame suddenly filled her field of vision... before impacting hard against her face.  Lina felt her nose flatten against a hard belly of strong abdominal muscles, while a solid thigh and... something else much more flaccid hit her chest.  She immediately went down with an indignant “OOF!”, a heavy body landing on her and pinning her to the spongy ground.

Lina was only momentarily stunned.  Opening her eyes, she was quick to realize the extremely compromising position her and Gourry were in.  When the blond swordsman had stumbled on the crouching redhead, he’d lost his balance too and landed flat on his face and atop of her.  It wasn’t so much the weight of his body crushing Lina’s smaller frame that bothered her the most, though.  Much more anguishing was the fact that the jelly-brained idiot was just as naked as her, and that some parts of their respective anatomies were involuntarily grinding....

Gourry shook his head and pushed himself up, wondering what was the warm and bony thing he just hit and landed on.  “Wha... L-L-Lina?” he stuttered, looking down at the flabbergasted face of the sorceress.

Lina, feeling utterly shamed, had temporarily frozen up from the humiliating posture... while at the same time, her cheeks were guiltily burning out of embarrassment.  But she didn’t stay stunned for long, though.  Her feminine modesty finally asserted itself in the usual way... that is, with extreme violence.

“AAAARGH!!  GET THE HELL OFF OF ME, YOU PERVERTED DORK!!!”

Lina slapped Gourry’s face hard, making his eyes roll away from her exposed skin; then she punched him in the chest and finally kicked him away from her body.  She quickly stood up and proceeded to beat him black and blue in a flurry of furious fists and feet... but she didn’t persist very long, compared to what she’d otherwise do to a male for such a transgression... because she was soon reminded of her shameful nudity by the feeling of air on her bare skin.  Yelling and crying, she covered her breasts again and ran frantically to hide herself behind a nearby outcropping.

Amelia and Zelgadis had crossed over about at the same time as Gourry... but they both didn’t react quite as fast to the surrounding, a bit shaken by the thermal shock and the unusual environment.  They just looked in astonishment at a nude Lina going medieval on an equally nude Gourry, before even pondering why both their companions were in the raw...

... and realizing they were also sharing this state of undress.  Their eyes bulged out comically, and they both blushed from head to toes — on Zelgadis, it gave a purple hint to his rocky blue skin.

“HHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!!!” Amelia shrieked.  Her shrill, girly voice echoed throughout the cavern, just like Lina’s did earlier.  She, too, fell to her knees while doing futile efforts to hide her nubile, young body with her arms.

Zelgadis, very flustered, immediately twirled around and prudishly covered his eyes with his hands.  “I didn’t see anything!  I didn’t see anything!  I’m not looking!  I’m not looking!”

Amelia began to cry and panic, shaking her head in denial!  “I’m naked!  I’m naked!  Why I am naked?!  What I am doing naked!?  I don’t want to be naked!  Oh, by all the ancestors, this is so embarrassing!!”

Gourry, leaning against the wall of the cave, groaned and rubbed his throbbing head.  What did just happen?  He vaguely remembered that Lina had pounded him, again, by why did she do that this time...?

Then, it fully came back to him when his eyes fell on Amelia’s curled, shaking... and very nude form.  As she had her back turned toward him, he got a good view of her curves, all the way down to her cute buttocks.  Lina might call her a little girl, but she was nonetheless very shapely.

“Mister Gourry!  Don’t stare at me!  I’m too ashamed!” she begged.

Gourry blink-blinked at first, but although not the swiftest mind around, he understood fast enough.  He closed his eyes and turned his head away, also blushing.  “Ah... sorry, Princess.  There, not looking, I swear....”

It was a wise move on his part; if he had been too slow, Zelgadis would probably have knocked him out on general principle, even if he’d have to do it blindly.  And even Gourry knew from experience that such a situation could easily get you fireballed.

“Miss Lina!” Amelia called, frantically joining the redhead behind her hiding spot.  Sniffing, her eyes still full of tears, she confronted the sorceress.  “Miss Lina, you could have warned us!  When you said that only living things could go through the dimensional door... I didn’t expect that!”

“I never expected it either!” Lina protested.  “It doesn’t work like that, normally.  Inanimate items can be brought along... if they are carried by living beings!  We should have kept our equipment!  I never heard of a dimensional door that strip bare those going through....”

“Well, now you have....” Gourry commented with a shrug.  He wasn’t exactly happy with Lina.  Why did she hit him so hard?  It wasn’t his fault if he fell on her... she should have gotten away from the exit spot.  Or was it just because he saw (or maybe mashed) her breasts?  It isn’t like they were that big....

“Now, Lina, Amelia, please get dressed!” Zelgadis insistently pleaded.  “It is unseemly of women to prance around naked!”

“Like you’re any better, you nudist!” Lina retorted from the behind the outcropping.

This made Amelia blush twice as hard, as she remembered the fleeting moment when she glanced at the chimera’s nude form just as they had appeared in this world.  He was looking like a sculptural work of art made of blue stone, perfect to the last small detail....  The princess forcefully shook her head to cast away the naughty thoughts.

“And were are we supposed to find clothes?” Lina ranted.  “Do you see anything around here that look like it could be useful?”

Zelgadis took his fingers away from his eyes and peered around at the barren cavern they were in.  Gourry did the same and scratched his head.  “Yeah, indeed, there isn’t much here....” he flatly commented.

“Okay, then it’s settled....” Lina grumbled.  “I admit it, that was a mistake to jump into this portal.  Let’s get back; with a little luck our clothes and gear are still in the crypt.”

“Get back?” Gourry asked out loud, blinking.  He turned around, looking at the spot from which they exited.

Zelgadis did examine the same spot, slapping the hard surface of the cavern with the palm of a hand.  “Lina... this wall is solid... there doesn’t seem to be any way back....”

“WHAT!?!” two anguished feminine voices yelled at the same time.
