What he wasn't sure about was how his Mamas would react to how things had changed. Even before the world had been changed enough to allow the grouping of one guy to multiple girls, they weren't what he'd call shy about caring for him. If anything, they tended to go overboard, what with offering to wash his back, giving him hugs that he was sure had cracked his ribs, and dressing him in strange costumes.
Not that they were what he would call 'terrible', as they truly did care for him. Other than his two adopted sisters, they were the only ones that had shown him emotional concern since his parents had died. When he'd grown older, he'd been so sure that he could stay on his own and be perfectly happy with his own place. Yet, he'd learned that there were some things that simply called for a family, no matter how it was created.
Glancing over at the window, Chitose watched as the drops tapped at the window and remembered a day much like this one. Back then, a single teacher had come out and tried to care for him after he'd been in a fight. She'd then shown up at his doorstep with four of her fellow instructors, each of them planning on becoming a mother to care and love for him.
It hadn't been asked for, and they certainly hadn't tried to benefit from caring for him, but it did seem to have worked out wonderfully, all the same.
Okay, so he could do without being stuck in electric chairs, or forced to study, but at least he had the warmth of a happy home.
Blowing out a breath, he wondered out they, along with Minazuki and Hazuki, would react to how things were going now, while:
