Somewhere in the multiverse...
"Now, let me see if I get this straight," the young man sat in his chair, facing the Being. "You're saying another version of me has flipped out and, after getting hold of something from Lum's ship, started jumping between dimensions to kidnap every pretty girl who has the ill-luck to cross his path. And all this happened because Lum zakked him once too much?"
The Being nodded. "That's what it looks like, Moroboshi-san."
This universe's version of Moroboshi Ataru took a deep, calming breath. Staring at him, the Being quietly chastised himself for actually considering not coming to see this man and obtain his assistance in dealing with his dimensional counterpart. While the chances of confusion should this Ataru encounter the others the Being had gathered to deal with the matter were present, the fact that this Ataru had also been, in a way, the victim of his counterpart's uncontrolled lechery couldn't be ignored.
Like that other Ataru, this Ataru's life -- as depicted in a certain manga and anime series in other dimensions -- had gone pretty much the same way. To a point. A point where things diverged greatly due to...
