[Episode 199009] [Episode 199009]Sakura just couldn't believe she had ever made that dumb bet with Anko. It was totally ridiculous, but she supposed that's what happens when the prize of a bet like this sounds tempting and you’re really drunk.
‘Me and my big mouth!’ she mentally groaned. ‘I just had to start bragging about my expert card playing skills to her… And now I’m stuck doing something I really did not want to do!’ Unbidden, the memories of what had led up to now trickled back to her.
It had all started about a week ago. Sakura had been having a game of cards, after a night of medium-level drinking at the local bar. She was there with all the females she knew. All of them, that is, except Tsunade, who had gotten stuck with important paperwork. The reason for these festivities? To celebrate Sakura's 21st birthday, of course! Over the years, Sakura had filled out quite nicely, developing curves and a beauty that would make any straight man fall head over heels for her, along with a few women. Unfortunately for them, she kept turning down any requests for a date… Sakura was done with dating! After Sasuke had broken her heart for the last time, she had refused to date anyone else, for fear they too would break her heart further… She had taken to drinking like her mentor did on her days off in a near-by bar. In fact, when it came to drinking, she was even worse than Tsunade ever was. That night had been a prime example of her vice. She had drunk over five bottles of the strongest sake that was available. She hadn’t passed out, but was a little unsteady on her feet.
Sakura then had started bragging about her expert cards skills and that she could beat anybody in any card game. Anko, the only one to dispute that fact, had said to Sakura that she could clean Sakura out, without breaking a sweat. This had been done in private, while they had both gone to the bathroom. Sakura hadn't believed her for a second. Anko had been so certain of that fact; she offered a bet to Sakura. If she could clean out Anko, she would pay Sakura fifty thousand Ryu a month for the next three months. As well as that, she’d serve as Sakura’s assistant for the next year, dealing with all her paperwork! If Sakura did lose though, she'd have to serve as Anko's sex slave for the next month. This would only be in effect when both she and Anko were in town. There would of course be no intercourse, but other than that, everything else was fair game! The decided game for the bet would be Blackjack. It had all been very tempting, but Sakura had still wanted more out of it!
In an impulsive decision, one she now regretted making, Sakura had made a counter-offer… It would only apply if Anko won the last hand. And with the Ace and King of Hearts, to boot! If that happened, Sakura would dress up in a rubber kitten outfit. Not only that, she'd become Anko's property for three full months, with no say in the matter. Therefore she'd have to stay at Anko's house the entire time, even if Anko's wasn't there! She would also be forced to act like a real cat for the duration of the time she wore the outfit… This length of time would be left up to Anko but it couldn't extend past the end of the normal bet. This was unless Sakura had agreed to extend it.
But if Sakura won with the exact same cards, Anko would have to serve as her assistant for the next two years instead of just one!
When Anko readily agreed to this new twist in the bet, Sakura suddenly wasn't so sure about this deal of hers. Her Inner self was urging her to think it through fully! But after some fast thinking, weighing up the pros and cons of the bet, she figured that there were three very good reasons to stay with it…
Firstly: she had been on a winning streak lately, beating everyone with ease, Anko would be no problem! Next, the money would be pretty good, being more than what she made in the same length of time… Finally, even if Anko did win, it was more than likely that she’d just be a simple sex slave. So it would only last a month! Also, she had been practising her card-counting skills, and could easily rig the deck…
So, Sakura had decided to accept the wager as it stood. Her Inner Self was warning that this was not a good idea! But Sakura tuned it out… She had had too much to drink and her arrogance was telling her she could win this!!!!!!
