On board the bridge of the Mirage, a female crew member with short brown hair was going through a list on her clipboard. "And that should be the last of the repairs. Thanks for helping us out back there, Rosa! We got hit pretty hard during that fight."
The other girl merely pushed up her glasses. "Well, I did owe Rick my life for saving me in the first place."
This caused the female crew member to grin and give the orange haired boy a quick noogie. "Looks like you're making some progress after all!"
"Cut it out, Linn!" Just as she stopped applying her noogie, Captain Weiss (who wasn't exactly the spitting image of a Vulture captain with her eyepatch, a black cloak which covered her loose green top that allowed a decent amount of cleavage to show, brown trackpants and a simple charm she wore around her neck) stepped in and noticed the small group.
"Ah! I'm glad I caught you, Rosa. Before we part ways, there's still one thing we need to settle," said the older woman in a serious tone.
"And that is...?"
"The winner of the salvage contest."
Rosa's left eyebrow started twitching. "You mean you're still concerned about that?!" It was at this time that Linn briefly whispered something into her ear, which caused the dark haired girl to twitch even more before giving a sigh of resignation.
Captain Weiss crossed her arms. "Well?"
"After considering the gains and losses of each ship, I can only determine that you are the winner of the salvage race. Congratulations on winning salvaging rights to the Sea of Lorelei." Of course, technically, the race hasn't been completed but at this point, she didn't really care.
"YES!! The sweet taste of victory is mine!!" Weiss practically danced around the bridge, causing Rick to go into a stupor and Linn (and the other bridge crew members) to cover their faces in embarassment.
It was at that time when a radio message caused the older woman to stop dancing, much to the bridge crew's relief. "Lockon to Captain Weiss. Out patient is awake. Please report to Sickbay."
"He's up already? This is getting interesting. You two kids can come with me since you seem to know him best right now. Linn, you have the bridge." After that statement, Weiss strolled out of the bridge with Rick and Rosa behind her.
The trip to the medical bay would have only taken two minutes normally but with the spring in the Captain's step, it took three minutes instead. While they passed random crew members, they would merely shake their heads and mutter comments about how Captain Weiss was going to be in one of those moods again for a while.
They finally did get to the sickbay door and stepped in to see a young male sitting in his bed examining Haro, hardly batting an eye while Lockon extracted a blood sample from him. He was about Rick's age with pale skin and smooth black hair that had its bangs dangling just above his shoulders. His eyes were a dark purple colour and he was dressed in a black flight suit (with the left sleeve removed to allow Lockon access to his left arm's vein).
Weiss gave a curt nod to Lockon and Felt before meeting the calm gaze of the mystery patient aboard her ship. "We meet at last, Gundam Pilot..."
