When Ranma had finished with the panels, well several timelines were shifted about...resulting in some odd variations.
For example, Ranma, caught up in the timeline fusing, was sent back, along with the rest of cast to a new Ranma time line.
And Ranma was about meet Soun and Pirotesse Tendo and their three half-dark-elf daughters: Sylphiel Tendo, the eldest girl, a kind woman with a talent for white magic and cooking. Faye Tendo a gambling, card sharking con artist nevertheless with a firm (but deeply hidden) core of loyalty to her friends. And the youngest, Rally Tendo, a girl with an interest in guns to match Ranma's interest in martial arts.
Then there was the new Sailor Moon timeline. With Princess Deedlit Tsukino, Washu Mizuno, Akane Hino, Aisha Kino, and Amelia Aino.
Or the Outlaw Star timeline with Kasumi replacing Melfina, Kodachi replacing Aisha Clan-Clan and Setsuna replacing Twilight Tsuzaku, among other switches.
Then there was the Slayers Timeline
With Ryoko Inverse, Melfina of Sairagg (Sylphiel), Usagi of Sailoon(Amelia), Minni May (Martina), Ukyou of the Dragons, and Minako the White Serpent
There was also the Gunsmith Cats timeline
Shampoo Vincent, her ex-prostitute friend explosives prone friend, Lina Hopkins, her everpresent information source, Ami, the lesbian half-elf ex-con with a crush on her: Leaf (from Lodoss War TV, half-elf) and her greatest enemy, also seemed to be a lesbian that wanted her (as a slave): Ayeka.
Mostly girls kept their own races, unless, of course, that made them weaker the girl they were replacing. So while Pirotesse remained a drow (and gave her "children" half drow traits), Ukyou went from human to gold dragon...and so on.
And, of course, there were other mixmatched timelines...and also all these timelines suddenly had a plethora of magical races in there worlds, and nobody realized it.
