"No, ah hah ha," tried an increasingly flustered and embarassed Kaname.
"Hmmmm," said the other friends who had gathered.
"Well, I'm pretty sure nothing happened," tried Kaname.
"Uh huh," said those skeptical friends.
"Yeah, I guess even with evidence to the contrary," said Kyoko after a moment, "even if you did get drunk, it'd be too much to hope for -"
"HEY!" interjected Kaname.
"After all, it IS Kaname we're talking about," said Kyoko, putting her camera away.
"Yeah, you're right," said those other friends after looking at each other.
"Hey!" interjected Kaname, seeing the idea that she could have done something untoward as being impossible as less than flattering.
"You woke up with some girl, and your underwear was messed up, wasn't it?" asked Ryoko.
"Well... yeah..." said Kaname, leaving out various details.
"Oh yeah, I've done that," said Chikame. "I got drunk once and couldn't hold it-"
"That's enough details," interrupted Kyoko.
After a morning teasing, some boring classes, and scanning the news displays for safe topics of conversation - Kaname was welcoming a return to the routine.
"Is this seat taken?"
The very familiar voice got Kaname's attention immediately.
"No. Have we met?" asked Kyoko.
"No, though I've met Miss Chidori," said the girl as she sat down at the lunch table.
Kaname hoped that she'd just be quiet, the other girls had just finally dropped all the questions.
"Are you feeling better now, Miss Chidori?" asked Teletha.
"Just fine, Captain," muttered Kaname.
"Oh hoh," said Kyoko, putting it together. "This morning?"
"They know?" asked Tessa. "Well, yes. We were sort of in the same situation this morning."
"Ah hah," said the various other girls.
"Just great, what else can go wrong?" muttered Kaname.
"Over here!" said Kurz Weber's voice.
"Urk," said Kaname.
Tessa merely shrank in on herself and fidgeted with her braid.
"Why are you trying to sneak away?" asked Kyoko.
"Shhhh," whispered Kaname. "They haven't seen us yet."
Tessa nodded as the group of girls huddled at their table, most wondering what was going on.
"I don't understand this at all," said Sosuke.
"That's why we're going to explain it to you," said Kurz Weber. "You've been a soldier since you were five or so, right?"
"That is affirmative," responded Sosuke.
"You've never really interacted with women except on the battlefield, right?" asked Weber.
"Again, that is correct," said Sosuke.
"Wow, so you've got even less experience with women than I do," said one of the other boys with Weber.
"Right," said Weber. "So we're going to explain women to Sosuke so he knows what he's getting into."
"Oh, this sounds amusing," said Kyoko, a gleam in her eye.
