Sakura shook her head, bringing herself back to the present. It was now a week later after her rash bet. She was due to meet Anko and Tsunade in two hours time. Life had gone on as normal for most people. For Sakura however, every day seemed to pass by in a blur. Tsunade had given her last week to sort out a few important details. For example, cleaning out her apartment of any food that would go off before she got back! By this time, the rest of her acquaintances knew she wouldn’t be around for three months… Fortunately, they didn’t know the whole story. She had told them that she was going on a training trip, which was going to last that long. Ino had even come over earlier that night. Both of them had cleaned the flat up and chatted away until Ino had to head home. Sakura smiled at all their petty squabbles in the past. They had buried the hatchet a long time ago…
After Sasuke had made his choice, there had no reason to argue anyway. It had been strange at first, not arguing every time they saw each other. But over time, they got used to it… And now they were such good friends, you'd never think they were ever rivals.
Kohona had changed in the last few years too. Ever since the last battle with Akatsuki, things had calmed down and business was booming! Since the village's military strength was back up to levels before the Kyuubi's attack, Sakura wasn't needed for as many missions!
So she now worked in the hospital most of the time... It was regular enough hours, from 9 to 5. And on some weekends, she trained with Tsunade to keep up her battle skills. After training, which lasted for a random length of time, she went to the bar to unwind. Overall, she had gotten into a comfortable routine. The only times she broke with it was to celebrate with her friends at a birthday or wedding. Then she would drink enough to knock anyone else, bar Tsunade, out… She’d sometimes gamble enough money away, you could start a hidden village with what she spent. She would then run, leaving whoever she was with to pay the bill! Fortunately Naruto had always won just enough to cover her debts. If he was there, that is... Whenever he wasn't, it took all of the others to deal with it! Sometimes, they had even ended up working overtime and even taking multiple jobs, just to cover it… Hinata had to borrow money from Naruto several times after a girl’s night out! But this time, she couldn’t run! She had given her word and it was binding…
The morning after the bet was made; she had woken up with the worst hangover ever. Because of that, she had thought she had dreamt the whole bet up. Once she had spotted the bracelet however; that hope had faded fast! After she had clamed down, she thought the whole thing through. Having done so, she made a decision. I’ll try and find out what coming, so I can prepare for it! That way it won’t be too bad… I’ll treat it just like a mission!’
The first day, she tried to find out what Naruto and Hinata were doing. She found out that there had been several large purchases of building materials made by Naruto in local stores. Unfortunately the exact details weren’t available. When she had called over to see what he was doing, Hinata had intercepted her at the entrance… She had quickly and efficiently hustled Sakura out of the estate…
Sakura did manage to spot an army of Shadow Clones with tons of building supplies and crates heading to the guesthouse before she left though! Whatever they’re doing, it certainly is a big job… she noted. But she still didn’t know what was being built or added on. She had decided not to bother trying again, after Hinata had given her a “friendly” word of warning on the way out. ’Man, Hinata sure is scary, when she wants to be! I can see how she’s able to handle Naruto so well…’
The medical exam from Tsunade was next on the list. The results of it showed she was in prefect health! She'd be okay to go ahead with the bet for the full length of time… In fact, the only problem she had was a high level of alcohol in the bloodstream. Well that’s what you get for living a fairly healthy lifestyle! she sarcastically thought.
All the necessary measurements had also been taken for the suit. From what she could work out, it was going to be a snug fit on her... A blush came to her face, recalling the examination. Tsunade's rubber-clad hands had explored her thoroughly... Why did she have to go into such detail? I don’t think she left a single area unexamined… she wondered. Much to her shock, part of her was looking forward to finding out!
Focusing back onto her memories to avoid her hentai thoughts, she recalled what happened next. After the check-up, she had asked Tsunade what might happen. She had been hoping that her mentor would tell her what to expect… Tsunade normally let But all she got in reply was that Tsunade had checked everything out. She seemed to think it wouldn’t be dangerous at all. Sakura would just have to find out for herself! ’Why wouldn’t she tell me?’ Sakura wondered… ’Guess I’ll have to do what she says. I sure hope this isn’t something I end up regretting!’
As for trying to follow anyone, she couldn’t even get close… The bracelet made it impossible to suppress her chakra low enough to avoid detection! Even Naruto could detect her from a kilometre away with it on. And he would have been the easiest to track normally! But now wherever he went, Hinata wasn’t far behind. And they both left shadow clones at the estate, so even when they weren’t in town, she couldn’t sneak over to it for recon. All the adult purchases had been from out of town, so she couldn’t trace them. All she knew about the packages, were that they were from a new company. And Anko had picked out everything, from their catalogue. Since Sakura didn’t know where to get a copy of that catalogue, she had no clue of what to expect!
So for the rest of the week, all she could do sit around and wait. ’The waiting is always the worst part of any mission…’ she thought. Every night, it took her ages to fall asleep. And when she did, her dreams were strange with her only remembering parts of them...
But finally Anko had shown up yesterday, saying everything was nearly ready and to be at the Hokage’s tower at midnight tonight! She checked her clock, it was eleven PM. Well, time to get ready… she sighed. It took her a few minutes to change into her outfit for the meeting. Part of the agreement was that she was to show up wearing nothing but a long trench coat and sandals! Anko had said that everything would be provided for her. If Anko decided to release her early from the kitty suit, she would get outfits that Anko chose. This detail, Anko claimed, was to cut down on stuff to be stored by Tsunade. Sakura wasn’t so sure about this…
‘Hmph, more like it’s to ensure I will totally reliant on Anko for the bet! But a promise is a promise… Besides, if I did back out on this one, who knows what might happen! Both Anko and Tsunade aren't the type to let a thing like this go....' were the thoughts running through her head as she slowly walked into the tower. She had also been given a promise. No-one else apart from Tsunade, Naruto, Anko and Hinata will ever need to know what happened over the three months! That is, unless Sakura decided to tell them. Sakura agreed to this deal. 'At least this way, no-one else will find out about this, unless I say anything about it...'
She handed over her keys to Tsunade, with a little reluctance, but also a growing excitement, much to her puzzlement. 'Huh? I know I've experimented a bit with wearing rubber and some bondage both separately and at the same time before, but it never turned me on this much before! What gives? Is it the fact that for the first time I'm not doing it alone, but with someone else in charge of me so I don't have any control of the situation…’
Sakura gave herself a mental shake to focus on the present situation. She then noticed that Anko hadn't shown up yet… This puzzled her, normally Anko would be here by now... She usually was punctual to meetings. And this was something she was looking forward to!
"Where's Anko???" Sakura asked, a part of her hoping desperately that a mission that needed Anko's skills had come up at the last minute! Her forfeit would then have to be delayed until another time. At least she could figure out why she's getting so turned on… This was quickly dashed by Tsunade’s reply.
"She's coming along now in a few minutes, she just had to pick up some last-minute items. Not to mention the suit! Just to let you know Sakura… Anko and I were talking the wager over. This was to finalise the whole deal… Not to mention some “other” matters. We decided to give you three chances to back out from the wager. Of course if you do back out, you’d still have to do something. It’d be shorter but you'd have to do it in public; for example, a striptease for Naruto's or Lee's birthday...”
At this Sakura pales! She rapidly shakes her head and speaks in a quavering voice: “No way!!! I’d rather do this…" No way would I do something like that for Lee!
Tsunade nods, then continues on: “Fair enough, the three chances will be as such. First, when you have read the contract before you sign it. Next is before we seal you into the suit! Finally, before we put the collar on and lock it. But once the collar is locked on, you'll be stuck as Anko's pet for at least part of the two months! There’ll be no backing out after that point, just because you suddenly got cold feet… In fact, only Anko will decide when you get to remove the outfit once it’s locked on! The only other reason is if you become critically ill… Is that understood, Sakura??"
"Crystal clear, Tsunade...." Sakura replied then started to read the paper that was resting on the table in front of her...
