Chained World: Now You See Him.... [Episode 199821]

"Well, because," said Mutsumi, pausing as she obviously tried to remember a detail, "oh yes, it was because Keitaro was trying to escape at that time, lowering himself out a window on a rope made of bedsheets."

"I'm guessing his escape was less than successful," pointed out Haruka due to the current lack of Keitaro.

"Oh?"

Sighing to herself, Naru glared at the ditzy woman. "Don't you think that if he got free, he'd have headed home to us?"

"Ah, that's right. I suppose he'd really want to do something like that."

"You have to be kidding.... Listen, did he say why Keitaro didn't return to us?"

"Actually... no."

"But that's the important part! We must know what happened to him!" Motoko blurted out.

Mitsune shook her head. "Won't work. Japan is a series of islands, remember. Lots of ports all over them."

"And there are many boats within those waters," Motoko pointed out.

"Oh. Right," murmured Naru as her shoulders slumped, while:
