At first glance, the weapon seemed to be ridiculous to Ranma. After all, who ever heard of a gun and a sword being mixed together? Still there was something about the weapon that just seemed to call out to Ranma. He walked over to the rack were several dozen of these strange weapons were carefully stored. As he approached the gunblades Ranma noticed that there was a small poster off to the side detailing gunblade care and tips for better performance. Ranma figured that there was no harm in taking a look at the poster and walked over to it.
While he couldn’t read the writings on the poster Ranma really didn’t need to worry about that. The poster was mostly used pictures to explain everything so unless you were a complete moron you would be able to understand what it was trying to get across. Ranma studied the poster for a few minutes and had to admit that he was impressed with what he saw. It was obvious to Ranma that the gunblade, despite its strange appearance, was just the sort of weapon that he was looking for.
His mind made up Ranma headed over to the rack carrying the gunblades and preceded to grab one of them. After giving the gunblade a few practice swings to figure out how it handled Ranma smirked. The one that he had grabbed was just the right weight, balance, and length to work perfectly for him. Having found his new weapon, Ranma turned his attention to making sure he would have the supplies that his new weapon would need. For the next ten minutes Ranma was busy putting every single gunblade bullet within his hidden weapons’ pocket. Once the bullets were taken care of Ranma grabbed a case to stick the gunblade in and also grabbed a repair kit for it. Since he didn’t know when they would be back to the Moon after they left Ranma figured that he just couldn’t go and grab a new gunblade if the one he had chosen got damaged.
Everything all set and ready, Ranma turned around to go and leave the armory. As Ranma cleared the door to go into the main hallway of the armory, he noticed Usagi coming towards him with a satisfied smirk on her face. A small portion of Ranma’s mind smugly told him that Usagi didn’t look nearly as satisfied as she did last night when they were done feeding. As this wasn’t the time or place to entertain such thoughts, Ranma just ignored that voice in the back of his mind.
Usagi, who had just noticed Ranma, let a big smile appear on her face which showed her fangs. In her cheerful and in Ranma’s opinion slightly seductive, voice Usagi said, “Glad to see that you’ve picked out a weapon Ranma. I’ve taken care of all of those ‘holy weapons’ so we don’t have to worry about them. Let’s leave this place.”
