Getting out of not only the house but the very room took some doing, primarily due to the odd visuals of the dreamscape in contrast to the waking world. Finally, Ranma stood outside the ghostly replica of the Tendo home and was contemplating which direction to go. And, by extension, who to go after.
His first thought drifted towards the Nekohanten. While his first instinct was to try and rummage around inside the old ghoul's dreams in an attempt to steal some of her special techniques, he decided that was something best left for another excursion, if he dared to do it at all. Cologne had demonstrated a knowledge of magic before, so who knew what sort of mental defences she might have and how they would have affected him?
With her dismissed, Ranma's thoughts went to the other inhabitants of Nerima's most infamous Chinese restaurant. First of all, perhaps naturally, was Shampoo. The bouncy, bubbly, spitefully sweet Amazon was something of a mystery to him. He knew she claimed that they were husabnd and wife by her tribal laws, but did he really know anything about her other than that? Maybe he could learn something about her by entering her dreams... like whether or not she was only after him because of her laws and, if yes, how he could wriggle out of it?
And then there was Mousse. Perfect opportunity to test out his dream-shaping powers, plus he felt it was about time he got some payback. Yeah it was kind of petty, but Ranma had never claimed to be anything near a paragon of morality and maturity. Besidse, after all the times Mousse had come after him with blades, a few nightmares were more than fair. He could also go after Ryoga for much the same reason- maybe he could frighten/guilt the jerk into quitting the whole P-chan thing...
Then again, what about Ukyo? While they were old friends, Ranma technically didn't know that much more about her than he did about Shampoo...
One thought suddenly crept into his mind, shyly, as though expecting to be not only laughed at and have rotten vegetables thrown at it, but also knives and molotov cocktails before being chased out of town by a rioting mob. What about the Kuno estate? Maybe he could try and get his curse through Kuno's thick head by carving it onto his brain from the inside out? Or at least get him to stop chasing after his girl-side. The same thing went for Kodachi.
For several minutes, Ranma stood there and thought about his options before finally making a decision. He'd go after...
