Akane nodded slowly. "What do you mean, 'went cat'?
Ranma took a look at her position, at the woman that held her gently, and shifted her position on Nodoka's lap. She didn't quite want to leave... not yet... "Pop trained me in the N...Nekoken. It was supposed to be this unbeatable fighting technique... problem was, Pop didn't find out about the warning of insanity attached." She bit her lip. "Did I... kill anyone?"
"Nobody who didn't deserve it," Nabiki quipped. "Do you remember what Kasumi did to you?"
Ranma's eyes widened slowly. She cupped her hand over her breast for a second, shuddered at the feelings that came, then sighed. "I... I can't go back, can I? I'm stuck here forever - stuck here..." She shuddered for a moment, then noticed whose lap she was in. "I'm sorry, but... who are you?"
Nodoka ran a hand through Ranma's hair. "I'm your mother, Ranma. When I found out what Genma had done, I rushed over here... only to find you'd already killed her for me."
She touched a hand to Ranma's cheek; Ranma flinched at the contact. "Sorry... uh, Mom... it's just that..." She gestured to the remaining tattoos. "These made me really sensitive, and it'll take awhile to get used to them."
Nodoka nodded. "Kimiko had a potion that did something similar, back when I was here." She looked down. "I'm so sorry, Ranma... I should have been stronger... then you wouldn't have been in this mess."
Ranmna blinked, then remembered something about a contract. "Momma... do I have to stay here for a year and a day?"
"You probably wouldn't have left, Ranma," Nabiki interjected. "Kodachi was only supposed to be for a year and a day, too, but Kasumi 'convinced' her to stay. But now... you could leave right now, since you killed Kasumi." She rubbed her wrists together; Ranma noted tattoos along them. "Um... I don't mean to be rude, but..."
Nodoka blinked. "But what?"
Nabiki showed her wrists, where a strange lace pattern still held firm - and glowed. "I'll need pleasure soon - at least once a day, according to these. Kasumi didn't just make us enjoy it more; for us three, she made us need it."
Nodoka raised an eyebrow. "I... see. Does Ranma?"
Nabiki looked over Ranma's body carefully. "Not that I can see... but she'll certainly enjoy it once she does." She got up and moved toward the stair; Kodachi and Akane followed. "You two are welcome to join us, if you want..."
