Ranma, while normally aligned with the forces of good, some times Neutrality or Choas, was smarter than people generally thought.
That didn't mean he was perfect by any means of the word. He had just used the Great Will - The ability to control ALL aspects of creation, destruction, and probability within this little realm of subspace stability with no real idea concerning the grand scope of things.
He never did ask for ephiphany in knowledge, or anything of the sort. So while smarter than before, with the removal of all brain damage, he was not wiser.
