Kasumi blinked, reached up, touched the collar around her neck, and ever so slightly frowned. Whether she'd ever actually get angry and activate the collar was something Nabiki was already trying to fix odds on.
"I, like, lost my cool at Daddy," said Nabiki as she found her current mellow feeling allowed her to quickly sort everything out, "and nothing happened. When I yelled at Ranma - the collar, like, activated. You digging me?"
"Like, it's not anger in general," realized Akane. "Groovy. It only matters if it's against Ranma."
"Eh?" asked Ranma.
"Like, nihao, baby," said Shampoo, coming in the open door.
fzik went Akane's collar. "Oh wow."
Ranma stared at Shampoo wearing a pair of slinky black slacks, a striped tight shirt, and a little French beret. "Okay, now I'm getting weirded out."
"Get with the groove there, Ranma-baby," said Nabiki. "Any fiancee you got, she's got a collar."
"There's no latch or opening," pointed out Kasumi who was trying to find a way of taking off the collar. Though there was a little ring on the front, and some lettering in the back.
"So, like, I'm kinda wondering," said Nabiki, pausing only to sip on her capuccino.
"How many girls be sporting a collar like this?" asked Akane. "Yeah, I can totally dig where you're coming from."
"Groovy. Shampoo can dig it," agreed Shampoo. "Great-grandmama is putting in an espresso machine. She say sometime you just got to take what life hand you."
"That's cool," said Nabiki.
"I got this strange urge to, like, belt out some poetry," said Akane.
"Groovy," said Nabiki, Shampoo, and Kasumi. The latter of whom was just going with the flow and hadn't activated the collar yet.
