Naruto sighed and looked over the scrolls. For some strange reason, the Kyuubi had pointed him at certain scrolls that would make the seal stronger. He knew that the demon had some plan in mind, but he couldn't figure out what it was. He closed his eyes to meet with the fox once more.
"Hello brat," the demon fox stated.
"Er. Hello. What now? You've been pointing me at techniques that increase the strength of your prison and..."
"You want to know why. Revenge."
"The fourth Hokage is dead," Naruto said in confusion.
"Listen brat, I'm not talking about your father Minato Namikaze. He beat me, while sacrificing his life. Before you say I'm lying, the truth is far much better to hurt you with."
Naruto blinked tears away, as he thought about the Fourth Hokage. "My mother..."
"Kushina Uzumaki from the Land of the Whirlpool," the fox replied.
"Thank you, although why you told me I have no idea."
"You will be hated by almost everyone. This way, you know why. Inside Konoha, you have me inside you. Outside Konoha, you'll be mistaken for the Yellow Flash," the fox stated and started laughing.
"Laugh it up furball. You said you wanted me to learn those techniques for revenge, but if not my father then who?" Naurto exclaimed angrily.
"Keep your cool. You'll find out soon enough, but by that time it will be too late," the fox replied and stretched a bit. "You might want to try to talk to a stork and get the stork summoning scroll."
"Stork summoning scroll?" Naruto asked in confusion.
"Of course. Think on it. A stork can act like a spy and a large one can act as transportation by allowing you to ride it and as your little experiment showed they can be quite surprising fighters."
"You're never going to let me forget that are you?" Naruto asked in annoyance.
"Nope. If you don't go for the stork-summoning scroll, you might want to keep that feed handy and use it when you go to hostile towns. The sheer chaos is a beauty to behold."
"I don't trust you."
"My reasons are my own. By the time you figure them out, it will be too late," the fox restated and yawned. "I am tired."
Naruto watched as the demon fox curled itself into a ball and went to sleep. He did what he needed to do to become aware of the real world and rubbed the tears out of his eyes.
"My father was the Yodamine? Could it be lying?" Naruto whispered to himself. "No. It seemed to enjoy tormenting me with that."
Naruto thought about the advice the demon-fox gave him and shook his head. "Why are you doing this?"
Naruto sighed and shook his head. He knew the fox was tormenting him by telling him the truth of who his parents were. He shook his head and kept trying to figure out the fox's motives. The conclusion he came to that was he didn't know enough yet to have any firm ideas. He dug through his belonging and found some stork feed, although not the special feed that caused thousand of drunken storks to bound through Konoha. He picked up the feed and looked at it.
"Id rather have allies," Naruto muttered and looked outside and saw the sun was slowly setting.
Naruto quickly went outside and on top of the roof of his apartment building and tossed some feed down and waited. Soon a large stork came winging down and started eating the feed.
"Mister...stork? I'm sorry about that incident a year ago, but I was wondering if I could make a contract to summon other storks to help me and...," Naruto began hesitantly.
The stork stopped eating the feed and looked at Naruto with intelligent eyes. It cawed once and took to the air, and Naruto's shoulders slumped in defeat.
"I guess not," Naruto mumbled.
He was about to head back inside when he felt a breeze coming straight down hit him. Looking up into the night sky, he saw a huge stork heading towards him. Swallowing a bit, he waited for the giant bird to land. As it did so, it looked over Naruto and nodded.
"You will get my name later," the giant stork said in Naruto's mind. "You are the first to ask for the ability to summon my kind. I just need to know what was with that problem a year ago."
Naruto grimaced as he responded. "I was trying to get a stork so that I could watch it to learn the stork style taijutsu. I didn't expect the feed I used would bring all those storks and make them drunk."
"What do you want from my kind?"
"Transportation and spying."
"Not combat?"
"No. If I needed combat, I would have used that special feed instead of trying to gain a summons," Naruto replied.
The giant bird ducked its head under its wing and pulled out what looked to be a scroll.
"Just sign your name in your blood and you'll be able to summon my kind by giving a bit of your blood infused with chakra. If you wish for combat, then you will need some of that special feed as well to give them."
Naruto pricked his index finger and used the bleeding finger to smear his name on the scroll in horrible writing.
"Good enough," the giant stork mentally sent and flew away.
Naruto watched the giant bird fly away and saw that the original stork had come back and was eating the feed he used to lure it here. Naruto shook his head and went back inside and thought about the demon fox.
"Happy now?" Naruto mumbled and headed for bed. "No, I'm keeping quiet about all of this as well."
