Therefore she made the situation more palatable to her point of view by inducting her 'slaves' as members of the Chinese Amazon tribe. Now they were still under her command, but having them as such made them and their situation far more comfortable to an old matriarch.
Some of them were clearly NOT cut out to be warriors. That was fine though. Not all Amazons (despite the translation of the term) were great warriors. Everyone could fight, but some were better at it than others. Craftsmen, farmers, medics, and other professions were always required in greater number to support the warriors.
Diana, for example, was a tall European-looking beauty with enough strength and fighting prowess that she definitely went into the Warrior category. On the other hand, she apparently lacked experience with cooking OR waitressing. Shinobu on the other hand was a small and slender young girl who showed promise as a cook. As a warrior, she would require significant work just to be adequate.
Kodachi presented a bit of a quandry, but Cologne understood that this wasn't the original version but a copy. Therefore she could send her to her home until the original WAS found, and have her come in and work at the Nekohanten evenings after school.
Cologne wondered what Ranma and his group were up to, but she had her hands full settling these in.
Setsuna was a good choice though. Some fighting skills, particularly with a staff weapon. Some ability to cook, and she might not have been a waitress before but she did manage to show off a good memory and mathematical ability.
As for the albino Rei - her cooking skills pointed to her having a good career - as a warrior. The not-so-albino Rei (she had called this one Rei II at first but Rei I had corrected to say that she was Rei II, which was odd enough but Cologne didn't see a reason not to switch them around) was a decent archer and had SOME fighting skills. Rei I also was apparently partly psychic, which could come in handy.
The seventh of her original group (though both she and Ranma had ended up with three more each somewhere in their trip to that storage area) certainly seemed to have some attitude left. Asuka was grumbling at nearly all of her sisters and her current predicament. She was deferential to Cologne though.
Eight was Misato - who seemed a disaster in the kitchen. Good hand-to-hand skills, though she'd have to bring them up to a more acceptable level. Ninth of the group was named Barda who was definitely Amazon material.
Tenth was a bit of an enigma. She wasn't sure what exactly was wrong with Mutsumi but maybe one of the others had medical skills they could bring to bear on the problem. She fainted way too often to be a useful waitress.
