One of the fundamental laws of thermodynamics states that neither energy or matter can be created or destroyed. Instead, it becomes a different form of energy or matter. For example, a light bulb uses electrical energy heat a thin filament, until it generates light. Or in another example, oxygen and hydrogen bond in a particular way to become a molecule of water. No destruction takes place, only transformation. Creation and destruction is derived from perspective alone, as the destruction of one material heralds the creation of another. Magical energy is no different to the regular kind, and cannot be destroyed either. Indeed, magic has a hidden intelligence behind it, and should it sense that its current host is no longer appropriate to contain it, the energy will seek out a new host.
For instance, if an item like a magic book happened to fall into the hands of someone that felt it should be destroyed, the book would, in a fit of irony, often possess the person as soon as they set about their task. Having done so, the magic would transform the person from within, until they became the very thing they sought to destroy in the first place. And if that book happened to be full of a variety of seduction based techniques, the results would invariably become very interesting, very quickly.
Akane felt great. She couldn't place it exactly, but she felt like the world was a brighter place all of a sudden, and she just couldn't stop smiling. Perhaps it was because she'd developed a new martial arts technique? No, that couldn't be why. After thinking about how it worked for only a brief time, she could see all sorts of problems with it. Using it against someone that knew the Hiryu Shoten Ha amounted to surrendering. And even if she could connect with it, the technique would do a hell of a lot of damage to a person. She needed to refine it somehow, control it. Figure out a non-lethal use that didn't leave her vulnerable.
She stopped walking, and thought about that, with her hands on her hips. Unaware of the swaying motion of her body, or the fact that Gosunkugi (who had been hiding in a nearby bush) fainted shortly after she stopped, Akane started to think about what she needed to do. First of all, she had to practise it. If the technique really was dangerous to others, she needed to learn how to control it in case it was used by accident. The best way to do that would apparently involve getting angry at someone who could take it. Which meant it had to be Ranma. Nobody else would be willing to help out on this, and besides which, it would be fun watching him get all sweaty and hot.
Unaware of how her perceptions, thoughts and actions were being manipulated by the magical energy of the Master's Way, Akane made use of one of the most basic, yet effective, seduction techniques it had to offer. The Black Hole Walk. The technique worked by accentuating the best features of the user, using their own ki and a heck of a lot of confidence to boost the effectiveness of the technique. While using the Black Hole Walk, virtually anyone that made even a casual gaze towards the user would find their attention increasingly sucked in by the sheer beauty and sexuality of the walk. Much like even light cannot escape the high gravity of a black hole, the users of this technique drew attention to themselves and kept it there. While it sounds powerful, the technique is only useful for gaining the attention of a potential target, or perhaps distracting an intended victim while an approach was made. This was its intended purpose, and so the walk was often combined with at least one other higher level technique to ensure the desired effect took hold.
And so, as she walked home, several of the people she walked past in turn bumped into a lamppost, a wall, each other, or whatever just so happened to be in that general direction at the time.
"I'm home!" Ranma shouted a short time later. To his surprise, the house seemed to be empty. No Kasumi in the kitchen, fixing up dinner. No stupid panda playing shogi with his friend. And no tomboy getting on his case about eating something she'd thrown together, and...
"Hiiiya!" Came the yell from the dojo. He sighed, realizing that the family had obviously left the two of them alone together again, to try and help their relationship along. Which was part of the problem. They didn't need help. Ranma honestly felt that if he complained he was cold, his father would probably set him on fire or something equally stupid. That kind of help he could do without. With nothing else to do, he entered the dojo to see if he could get some training done, and-
And he gasped at the sight within. He had expected to see his fiancee breaking bricks, or running through a kata. Indeed, there was a stack of broken bricks towards the back, and the figure within was doing a kata... but that wasn't Akane. It was some kind of Goddess, disguised as her. He didn't recognize the kata, which disturbed him only as an afterthought, but there was something about it that he couldn't look away from. Here there would be a flawless high kick, that stretched the fabric of her dogi just right... there a leap in the air that caused her dogi top to lift just enough to show a well toned stomach... It was all the little touches. Each move, each attack, each block drew attention to a different part of her body, which would then stretch or bend or twist in just the right way to show off just how cute it was.
"Oh... oh damn," Ranma whispered, as he made two realizations. Firstly, this was Akane he was watching. And as for the second, he shifted inside the dojo and carefully sat down, praying that she hadn't noticed. Or that she would ask him to stand up for whatever reason, over the next half hour or so.
He caught the smile on her face, and grinned in a dopey way. Better make that a full hour. He was captivated. Sure, he knew how cute she was. It was part of the reason he teased her all the time. But this was beyond cute. This was... enchantment.
"Oh, Ranma! Just the person I wanted to see."
Ranma shook his head. He'd not even noticed she'd stopped. "Was that... was that a new kata? Not seen anything like that before."
She shrugged. "Yeah, it just sort of came to me. I figured it would help with my speed and grace. You're always saying I'm too slow and clumsy."
That was true. She was a power fighter, and damn good at it. But still, something didn't seem right here. "Uh, you said you wanted to see me for something?"
"Yep. I've developed this new technique, but... It's kinda dangerous. I need some help controlling it, just in case I hurt someone."
Made sense. It was no good being a martial artist with a powerful technique if that technique would accidentally endanger others around you. A martial artist must protect the weak, not hurt them. He nodded his understanding.
"Alright. All you have to do is make me mad, and I'll show you the technique."
Uh-oh. She wanted to do this now? He couldn't do that! He'd be humiliated, she'd call him a pervert and hit him, and... and was her dogi not tied right? He could swear he could see cleavage. He shook his head. That wasn't helping! He needed to lie his way out of this, then help her out later on.
"Ah, what would be the point? You're so clutzy that if I helped you develop it, you'd just make things worse!"
Uh oh. he may have overdone it. Her aura was up, and it was channeling into the fist heading towards his face. "What the he-YARGH!"
He sailed out of the dojo, and due to the fact that she hit him from the side, he mercifully avoided the wall. An idea presented itself then. It was a strange one, but if he twisted just so right then, he'd land...
*Splash!*
... Right in the pond. Akane stood in the dojo's doorway, glaring at him as he (currently she) rubbed the side of his head. The punch she'd thrown was a hell of a lot stronger than her usual fare, and would probably take longer than usual to shrug off. Not only that, but his cheek felt like it was scalded.
"Ranma you idiot! Why I ought to- Oh! I see what you did there. Thanks! What did you think?"
The pain in his face stopped about then. "Damn, twice as long as normal," he muttered. Out loud, he said "It's not bad, but if you're gonna use emotion based ki attacks, you'll definitely need training. I can help you with that."
He got out of the pond while saying that, but almost fell back in when Akane hugged him. "Oh, thank you! You're finally going to help me train properly." Akane blinked and broke off the embrace. "Are you cold or something? You'd better change out of those wet clothes. I'll wait for you in the dojo," and with that, she walked back in.
Ranma was about to ask what she meant by "was he cold," but the vision of Akane walking away from him quickly drove any such thoughts from his mind. Come to it, he didn't have a coherent thought until the dojo door closed, and he heard her continue her training. Resisting the urge to throw the door open and allow himself to become entranced yet again, he instead thought about what had just happened. "Since when did Akane act so darn sexy?" It bugged him. This was not like her. Usually she'd be so shy, or angry, or make fun of him, or... Anything other than stand or walk like that.
But then a thought occurred. It was something about the way she'd said that he'd always called her clumsy and slow. He'd also made remarks about her sexuality. "Uncute! I'm better built to boot. Thighs are too thick, built like a brick..." and other such taunts sprang to mind. Perhaps she was challenging him, trying to prove him wrong about her?
His back straightened at that. So it was a challenge, was it? She was trying to get him to admit that she was sexy or something like that, eh? He chuckled darkly. As attracted to her as he may have felt, Ranma Saotome did not lose a contest so easily. She'd be the first to admit she was attracted to him, and that was the way things were gonna go. Whether she liked it or not.
"Hiiiiya!"
Ranma-chan moaned as strange feelings went through his currently female body. Even an inarticulate yell was having an effect on him! He had to work off some pressure, before working out a game plan.
