Magical Girl Gathering: Early Scouting [Episode 204391]

by Disruptor

The three Tsurugino girls left their temporary home and started wandering around the Nerima ward. They spotted a black haired boy with a pigtail bouncing along the roofs being chased by a panda.

"Sis?" Hikari asked, as she pointed her thumb at the duo.

"I see it. It has nothing to do with us. Look around. Everyone here just accepts it," Mai replied.

"Let's get something to eat," Saya said. "That Uuchan's looks like it might be good to eat at."

Mai shrugged and the three girls went into the restraint. There they saw two people some customers.

"Okinamiyaki? Well, I guess it will do," Mai said.

They saw a person with carrying a big spatula heading towards them.

"Greetings, I am Ukyo Kuonji and owner of this restaurant. Can I take you orders?"

The Tsurugino girls gave their orders and Ukyo left. Mai gave an amused snort and shook her head.

"Cross-dressing central here," Mai said.

"What do you mean by that?" Saya asked.

"You're still new to that ability. Ukyo is a girl and dressed like a guy. That other person is a guy dressed like a girl," Mai replied.

"You're joking," Saya said in shock.

Hikari looked at the two and her eyes narrowed a bit. "No, big sister is right."

Ukyo returned with their orders and after they were served Mai looked at the chef.

"Do you know anything about that panda or the boy it was chasing across the roofs?" Mai asked.

"Why do you want to know about that?" Ukyo countered.

Mai smiled. "You know of the stereotypes that Tokyo tells of Osaka. I'm quite sure you also know the stereotypes they tell of northern mountain girls. Call it being united against Tokyo."

Ukyo smiled and nodded and then frowned. "Do you know of a Ranma Saotome?"

"Never heard of the guy? Hikari? Saya?"

Hikari shook her head, while Saya frowned and then snapped her fingers.

"Arrogant jerk with maybe three brain cells is what I have heard of him," Saya said.

"No arranged marriages?" Ukyo asked.

"Our parents don't believe in that," Mai said. "What is with that question? That Kasumi Tendo girl asked that as well."

"You met Kasumi?" Ukyo asked.

Mai waved her hand dismissively and gave a brief rundown on why the three were here. Mai then stared straight into Ukyo's eyes.

"I would like for all of us to know what is going on around here, so we can avoid getting involved with things that don't concern us."

Ukyo nodded and sat down beside Mai. She quickly brought them up to speed on the stuff going on in Furinkan. The Tsurugino girls were able to interject questions that allowed for a much greater picture than what Ukyo thought. After that was done, Ukyo stood up and left the three alone.

"A little biased on her part," Mai said. "But, informative. We will be eating at the Cat Cafe for supper of lunch tomorrow to get more information. Just don't get in a fight with any of them."

"Cousin? Do you really think it's true about those curses?" Saya asked.

"The Pools of Sorrow in China. A person will take the form of whatever was submerged there to set the spring. Submerged, not drowned. Other limitations are no insects and natural objects such as pebbles, bamboo shafts or mud can set the springs, although a statue can. The fact that they have the curses this long means they don't have the cure. Don't worry about it, we are immune to Jusenkyo water and even if we weren't we do have access to the cure," Mai stated.

"Do we offer the cure to any of them?" Hikari asked.

"I'd rather we not get involved with this mess, if we can help it. Besides, they've probably gotten used to their curses by now," Mai said, as she stood up.

The three of them paid their bill and left Uuchan's
