Great Will Cascade: Issued Relations [Episode 205533]

by Kestral

"Tomobiki cho," said the overhead speaker, "Tomobiki cho."

A few people got on, some got off. Most of the oncoming people looked VERY askance at the three women on the men's train car.

"Sir, you can't beat your father up in public like this," said Hayate.

"No?" asked Ranma.

"No, Sir, it's unseemly," said Hayate.

"Oh," said Ranma. That actually made sense. Would probably damage the train.

"What are the odds that someone would remember a contract made seventeen years ago?" protested Genma. He would have counterattacked his son but for some reason there were suddenly three kunoichi between the two of them.

"99%? 100%?" asked Hitomi.

"What KIND of contract are we talking about?" asked Kasumi.

"Oh, the usual kind," evaded Genma. "Son? Are you so lax that you let your ninja go talking back to me?"

"I dunno about that," said Ranma, "cause I think it's part of their job to look out for me, ain't it?"

The two male ninja shrugged while the three kunoichi (though one was technically a martial artist and not ninja) found something to agree with in that statement. Then immediately frowned and looked at each other as they WERE apparently in agreement with that issue.

"Next stop. Furinkan. Next stop. Furinkan," said the overhead speaker.

"This will be our stop," said Genma, thinking to ambush his son once they were off the train. Had to teach the boy some respect.

"Yeah, right," said Ranma, thinking once off the train he was going to press for some answers. Or...

Supernatural being? Contract?

Conservation of energy guidelines utilized dimensional mergers to achieve maximum effect. One of the timelines involved had further magical influences, as noted by the use of various magical proficiencies.

Oddly enough, I think I understood that. So one of these 'magical influences' has me in a contract of some sort?

Correct.

Ranma watched the scenery going by, noting absently that there was at least one block-sized building he didn't remember seeing before. When the universe didn't follow up, he asked the obvious. What kinda magical being, and what kinda contract?

Did the Universe chuckle? No, couldn't be.

"So? More about this supernatural being and what kind of contract?" asked Ranma of his father in a voice that was almost calm. Even as he accessed the Great Will and put a 'Tell The Truth' compulsion on his father.
