It wasn't until he realized what the significance of the big lenses on the metal covered face was that he finally figured out who he was dealing with.
To be fair, there hadn't been a previous reminder, at least to him, that there were other guys to bring back as well. Until now, he'd only had to deal with cute girls having their bodies violated by these machines, making it so that were living machinery. Upon seeing Mousse's fate, he was reminded of just how close he'd come to winding up just like the Chinese boy already had.
Of course, he rather didn't know how to take what he was seeing, as he couldn't see rhyme, nor reason, in what had happened to the other boy. Beyond the encasing metal that had even his mouth and nose covered in some sort of 'mask', he had what looked like some sort of openings on his body at various points. This included what looked like a sizable pack on his back, and some sort of piston on the feet.
"Okay, this is new," he muttered, and looked at the metal bound form of the other boy. "Ya've been made inta somethin'... with a lotta holes."
"They are ready to send out materials to enter the bodies of those you dictate," came Mousse's dulled voice.
"Yeah? And what are ya supposedta be?"
"This is unit MOUS1, fire support unit."
"'Xcuse me? Ya mind showin' me whatcha mean?"
"Affirmative," the transformed boy replied, and a sizable blade popped out so fast that Ranma nearly jumped. Then came a wire that slid out of its shoulder slot, and seemed to have a weighted end that could move on its own. "This unit's weapon package is made available so that distance attacks can be made with several weapons."
"And this is how best ta let me know? By showin' me this stuff?"
"Firearms could be used, but would likely cause damage to the ship, even to the point of venting air to the depths of space.
"Ah. Right. No air out there. No good for takin' a stroll. In any case...."
"Yes?"
"Go join them over there. Or somethin'," Ranma grunted, and waved a negligent hand at where the girls were being reset.
"You wish for this unit to join them in recharging, refinement, and remodelling?"
"Somethin' like that."
"It will be done."
The pigtailed boy watched as the other teen walked over and joined the others in the reprocessing systems.
For the changed Mousse, he simply followed orders so that his alterations could progress, which would mean that the same commands that Ranma had put out were to apply to him, while:
