Ranma’s soulmate rubbed out tears from her eyes with her knuckles. Sighing, she pulled her legs up to hug them. ‘Life can be so cruel!’ she mused sadly. ‘Who am I to stand in the way of honor and an arranged marriage? An agreement must be fulfilled, after all.’ She turned to stare listlessly out of the window, as a dull lethargy came over her. ‘Do I fight for love, or stand aside while someone takes what I want? Perhaps someone undeserving. To fight for what is mine or make the noble sacrifice? To decide between love or duty...’
