Now he was running down over a bridge, around a tea house, and up over a streetcar. Even to himself he couldn't lie and say that he meant to do that, as he was merely trying to get away as fast as possible. If that meant that he was going to just run wherever was easiest, then so be it. Right about then, his only objective was to lose his pursuers.
Unfortunately, as he looked over his shoulder, his eyes went wide and he yelped at the sight of the girls still hot on his trail.
Leading the pack was a pretty brunette who didn't seem to pay much mind to the fact that her full bosom was bouncing rather mightily as she raced after him, her short skirt fluttering in the wind. About the only thing that she seemed to be concerned with was the angry and intense intent etched into her features.
Of course, the raven haired girl with the bokuto was apparently more dangerous as he had to dodge several slices that didn't come close to physically touching him, but somehow still managed to put gouges into the street. This meant bad things for his health, even as she jumped from object to object in his wake.
Then there was the girl with the tanned skin, who looked only mildly mischievous... if one didn't count the turtle shaped grenades that she was dropping onto his path from the turtle shaped balloon that she was riding. A part of him wondered about how safe it was for her to have her bare feet so far above the ground. That part was quieted down when she sent a mechanical flying turtle to snap at his backside.
With those three in mind, the other two didn't seem to be so bad. Sure, the girl with the narrowed eyes and the woman with the cigarette didn't seem to be as dangerous. Yet, they were still chasing him, and he wasn't exactly comfortable having them follow him past some cram school... especially when the woman punched a guy out of her way. And the girl was showing a little too much skin for his nose to take.
Clapping a hand over his nose to stem the impending blood loss, he closed his eyes and whined to the sky. "What did I do to deserve this?!"
Given that he couldn't see where he was going, it was somewhat understandable that he didn't realize that he was bringing a troop of girls into a high school, and, more specifically, into the boys' locker room.
"Hmmm...." murmured a puzzled Mutsumi as she blinked around at the room where everyone else had been only moments earlier. "Why did they rush off so quickly?"
No one answered her, which wasn't a surprise, given that the room was empty. That wasn't totally unusual for the inn, since the residents did have other things to do. Between school, friends, and other things, there had been times when no one was home. Besides, the place was rather sizable, and there was plenty of opportunities for people to be all alone, if they wanted to.
So, she wasn't all that put out by the absence of the others. After all, she wasn't that forceful of a person, and was rather accepting of others behavior. It wasn't like she had been left with nothing to do, and so she turned her attention back to the job at hand.
At least, by the look of the... 'garment', no one could doubt the amount of work that she'd put into it.
In fact, that sort of singlemindedness was what kept her going for the moment.
It didn't stop her from lifting her head as a male voice came echoing down the hall.
"Man, is it always this quiet here?" a young man asked, his voice rough but not nasty.
The responding girl's voice was much more familiar. "No, not usually...."
"It does seem that no one is home," muttered a booming second male.
"But they should be here."
"Apparently, they aren't."
"Looks that way," whispered the girl... as she turned the corner and Shinobu got her first view of the room's occupant. "Mutsumi!"
"Oh my, Shinobu! It's nice that you came back," replied the older girl, her smile sweet and relaxed.
"I told Miss Haruka that I was coming. Didn't she tell anyone else?"
"Yes, I think that she was saying something about that only a little while earlier."
The younger male, a rather cute teenaged boy frowned slightly. "If they knew we were comin' then where did they go? I'da figured that they'd wanna see Shinobu here."
"They certainly did. To tell the truth, they were really looking forward to it."
"Then where did they go?"
"They went to chase after a boy who'd come up close to the grounds," Mutsumi said, with perfect truthfulness.
Both of the males nodded, taking it as a sign that the universal feminine response to a pervert was going on.
Shinobu just murmured her hope that her sempai was okay, while:
