Setsuna's Fault - Starving Senshi: "Wait, You're All Senshi?!" [Episode 207976]

by Chronos the Cat

While Ranma continued to dance around in joy over being cured, Mercury pulled out her computer and began typing on it.

Moon noticed, and asked, "Whatcha doing, Mercury?"

"I figured I might as well get started trying to contact any aliens that might be in the Solar System."

Rei said thoughtfully, "I suppose I ought to get started with my psychic scanning." She scowled and said grumpily, "It would be a lot easier if I had a fire to focus on."

Minako said, "Maybe we should go look for some firewood?"

Rei, Mercury, Pluto, Haruka, and Micheru all stared at her incredulously.

"What?"

Rei slapped Minako alongside the head. "Idiot! There isn't any wood yet, remember?"

"Huh? Why wouldn't -- Oh, wait. No life means no trees means no wood. Heh heh. Silly me." Minako blushed and laughed a little while scratching the back of her head.

Rei hung her head and said again, "Idiot."

Eternal Sailor Moon patted Minako on the back. "Don't feel bad, I could have made the same mistake."

Minako waved it off. "Oh, it doesn't bother me. I'm used to making silly little mistakes. I've learned to laugh it off and move on. No use crawling over spilled tea and all that."

While everyone winced at Mina's phrase-mangling, Moon said wistfully, "I wish I could have that sort of attitude. It would make all the mistakes I make easier to handle."

Rei rubbed her forehead and growled out, "If you two are about finished, I'll need silence while I meditate if I'm going to do that psychic scan."

Makoto asked, "So what should the rest of us do while Rei and Mercury try to contact aliens?"

"We could look for a good place to build a shelter," Ranma spoke up, startling everybody but Pluto and Mercury (the latter of which was only half paying attention to the conversation), as only Pluto had noticed he had finished his song-and-dance routine and walked back over to them.

"Don't do that!" Minako said, her hand on her chest. Pluto just smirked at the other girls' reactions.

"Sorry, I thought you knew I was here," Ranma said.

Pluto said, "Ranma has a point. While there are no animals to bother us here, there is still weather. Most parts of the world at any point in time can have wind; in some cases even wind-storms. It's warm enough right now that we shouldn't have to worry about snow, but judging by the fact that there are clouds above us this is likely not a desert, so we could still have rain. For the sake of being as comfortable as possible in this setting, and lasting as long as possible, we should find or set up some sort of shelter."

Makoto asked, "So, how should we go about doing this?" All eyes but Mercury's and Ranma's turned to Sailor Moon.

"Um, why is everybody looking at me?" Moon said.

"Because you're the leader, of course!" Rei (who had given up on attempting to meditate until the conversation was over) said.

"Oh right. Okay, let me think a moment."

Rei held back on any snarky comments, as she knew that would only slow things down.

Moon turned to Pluto. "I assume there must be a way we can leave this dome and still be able to breath?"

Pluto nodded. "We can each create a temporary atmospheric shield that will follow us around in the same way as I created this stationary shield - just add 'Personal' before 'Atmospheric Shield'."

Ranma said in confusion, "Wait, all of us?"

Pluto corrected herself, "Well, all of us who are Senshi."

Ranma glanced around at the girls. "Say, how many of you are Senshi, anyway?"

Most of the girls glanced at each other, uncertain what to say. Moon fixed that problem by answering, "Er, all of us, actually. Except for you, obviously."

"All of you?!"

"Yup." When Haruka, Michuru, and Rei scowled at her (with varying levels of venom), Moon shrugged and said, "Well, you're all going to need to transform anyway. Speaking of which, you might as well do that now and tell him your Senshi names."

Minako added, "Probably our real names too, huh? I mean, if we aren't going to bother keeping them secret."

Moon blinked. "Oh yeah, the rest of you never did introduce yourselves, did you?"

Makoto's eyes widened. "That's right! We didn't!" She rushed over to Ranma and bowed. "I'm Makoto Kino, also known as Sailor Jupiter. It's nice to meet you."

Minako cried, "Hey, don't steal the hunk!" and rushed over as well, bumping Makoto out of the way. "Hi! I'm Minako Aino, also known as Sailor Venus or Sailor V. You can call me Mina if you want. I'm sure we're going to be good friends."

Ranma couldn't believe it. Here he was trapped four billion years in the past, and he still had girls fighting over him. Scratching the back of his head nervously, he said, "Ranma Saotome. Nice ta meetcha."

Mercury showed she hadn't been completely ignoring what had been going on when she glanced up from her computer long enough to say, "Ami Mizuno, also known as Sailor Mercury."

"Right. I kinda figured that last part."

With a sigh, Rei said, "Rei Hino, also known as Sailor Mars."

Hotaru spoke up. "I'm Hotaru Tomoe, and Sailor Saturn." She did a curtsey.

Haruka rolled her eyes. "Sailor Uranus, and I don't see why you have to know my civilian name."

Micheru glanced at Haruka then said, "Sailor Neptune. If Sailor Moon insists, I'll reveal my civilian name, but otherwise I'd prefer to keep it a secret."

Moon pouted. "If you really want to keep your names secret, that's okay, but I don't see what the big deal is. Pluto said he was trustworthy, didn't she?" Moon glanced over at Pluto.

Pluto nodded. "Much as I hate to admit it. He's arrogant, has chauvinistic tendencies at times, and is a chaos magnet, but is good at heart, is a man of his word, and has a lot of experience keeping secrets."

Ranma was about to protest the first part of Pluto's characterization of him, when something occurred to him. "Hey! How do you know so much about me?"
