"Yeah," Ukyou said. "Somebody else cooking for me for a change sounds pretty good. Let's go!"
As the two walked in, Ukyou immediately noted the private nature of the high-walled booths and thought about bringing Ranma here for a date later. It looked like the kind of place you'd bring a sweetheart for a little snuggling.
"Two?" the waitress inquired cheerfully.
"Yep," Ukyou said.
"Okie dokie," the waitress said, jotting something down on her order slip and turning about to lead them toward a booth in the back.
"okie dokie?" Ukyou mouthed towards Konatsu, who merely shrugged as they followed.
As they sat down in a small single-benched booth next to each other, the waitress set a menu down in front of them.
"Now what would you like to drink?" she asked. "We've got the mother's milkshake on special today."
Ukyou's eyes moved down to the mentioned special price and resisted the urge to goggle at how cheap said milkshake was.
"We'll have that," Ukyou said.
"What flavor?" the waitress asked casually.
"Ooo," Ukyou gushed. "Weird combinations. I think I'll try this Blueberry-orange swirl."
"I'll just have a vanilla with a bit of mint, please," Konatsu answered politely.
"All righty," the waitress said. "Look over the menus and I'll be right back with you girls' shakes. In the meantime, we have some complimentary candies."
Konatsu nodded, not correcting the waitress on his dinner. He took one of the packages of complementary whoppers and opened one to take a few and immediately felt a strange sensation, though, for some reason she didn't feel like investigating that sensation just yet and thus find out that the gender pronoun necessary to reference her had changed.
It wasn't long after that the two girls, still dressed the same, but looking very different, walked out of the cafe, hands and bodies intertwined.
Konatsu's normally neatly styled hair was in a slight disarray with strands of green twisting out of her pony tail to cascade over her stark white skin. Ukyou's own massive blue cleavage, only barely contained by her uniform now for the moment, was likewise framed with orange skin.
Sighing pleasantly, their mouths separated briefly as they started to walk down the street.
"So," the waitress said, turning to her manager. "Same thing the others are using."
"Yep, besides our little tweaks," the manager said through a slender smile. "They need each other's breast milk to stay fertile...well, technically, they could get with any of the changed girls from other stores or us, but well...that's unlikely."
"And the point?" the waitress asked.
"To encourage harems, first step toward women exchanging reproductive DNA without men..." finally the woman shrugged. "In the end, just for the hell of it."
